"Bella..." She said, tapping her shoulder lightly, startling Bella.
"Oh Gina!" She got up and gave her a tight hug. 'Huh what's wrong? Why's she acting like something bad happened to me?'
Gina disengaged from the hug because Bella was acting a bit weird.
"What's wrong? Are you okay? Did anyone do somet - " Bella said, obviously anxious.
"Nothing's wrong with me. I should be asking you that. Are you alright? Why are you acting like something happened to me?" Gina asked and Bella's gaze turned fierce.
'Thank goodness she's back to her normal self. For a moment, I thought she had turned into a worrywart.' Hi a thought. It was because, Bella has always been the strong and confident type, no matter what the situation was. So it was a bit worrying, seeing her acting anxious.
"Why are you dressed like this? And why did you bring your father's car with??" Bella asked.
"Fine....I'll explain." Gina said.
"You know I'm studying music, so I need to get used to wearing flashy clothes and driving expensive cars." She said and Bella just arched a brow.
"Don't fool me. I'm asking again, why did you do this?"
'Sigh...I knew I would never be able to lie to her.'
"Okay...I was actually late for college and I didn't want my mom to make a scene about my dressing so I had to wear this. It's not that bad right? I tried not to wear something that attractive.....my car broke down earlier, so I had to borrow my dad's car. It was actually the less flashy, all other cars in the garage are either Lamborghinis and other high profile cars." She explained her reason.
"Have you seen the video of you?" Bella asked.
"What?!! They took videos?" Gina asked and she nodded.
"This is bad."
"It's alright. Things like this are common, you don't have to worry."
"O-o-okay."
"Listen Gina, you don't have to do things that pleases your mother. Do what you feel is right and what would make you happy." Bella said.
"I'm not doing this to please my mother or anything, I just didn't want to be late for class."
"And I'll get someone to fix my car when I get home." She added.
"That's good to hear. Just don't take to heart what anyone says. I believe in you." Bella said and they hugged.
Few minutes later, everyone came gushing into the class just to get a glimpse of the college goddess.
"Oh my goodness! She's here! It really is Gina!"
"I can't believe she could be this beautiful!"
"She obviously was a beauty before this but this is on another whole level!"
"Gina marry me. I'm not as rich as you but I'll certainly make sure to take care of you forever!"
"Get out! She's not your type. Can't you see? She's rich and classy."
"But she had been living a simple life, why did she change all of a sudden?"
"She obviously just came to show off her wealth to the world."
"I can't believe she's so cheeky."
Many were giving their opinions but Gina's head was rested on the table, ignoring all of their talks.
"Are you alright? Should we leave?" Bella whispered.
"No it's alright. The lecture would begin anytime soon so there's no need." She replied back.
"Berklee college is gifted with a goddess indeed. I'm so lucky to be admitted here!" A guy spoke.
"I had been thinking that this college was the worst but today had changed my thinking. This college is actually the best, all thanks to goddess Gina."
"Miss Isabella. Can you introduce me to your friend?"
"I'm definitely going to change my course just to look at her beautiful face." A guy spoke and that was what caught her attention. His statement was wrong. He shouldn't do anything that would not benefit him. Doing things just for the sake of others is what she could not tolerate! He shouldn't change his destined course all because of her! It was just wrong!
She raised her head up and everyone started to chatter even more.
"Oh my goodness! Her eyes are more beautiful! Are those contact lenses?"
"No. It's definitely her eyes."
Gina ignored their statement and used her eyes to search for him.
"Who made that last statement?" She asked Bella.
"Huh? Who?"
"The guy who said he was going to change his course."
"Oh. He's right there." She pointed.
"Uhm...excuse me." Gina said as she called for the guy.
"OMG, he caught her attention!"
"What you said earlier. Can you please not say that again? I don't want anyone leaving their dreams just for me. It's not nice doing that. You shouldn't stop pursuing your dreams because of someone. You chose it and you should focus more on that....". She said and placed her hands on his shoulder lightly.... "Don't pause your dreams, it's what you chose to do. If you need to see me, then I'll give you permission. I'm not a celebrity so there's no need to be scared or something. Just find me here anytime you want to see me." She said and left to her seat to rest her head again.
The guy was standing there in shock as his hands caressed the shoulder she touched him.
"I'm never going to pull this shirt off." He declared and they all laughed at his joke.
"OMG! She's so nice and thoughtful. I want to be her friend too." A girl cried out.
"I can't believe she said she's not a celebrity. With that beauty, my goddess, you're a celebrity." Another girl spoke.
"I'm already loving this girl. She's so kind."
"I wish I was a guy. This is not fair!" A girl pouted.
"Well, you can tell that to God." A guy joked and they chuckled.
"She just did that to show off. I don't like her." A jealous girl said.
"You're right. This girl had been in this school for the past months and she didn't dress up attractive. Why did she suddenly come up with the idea." A girl said and that was what provoked Bella.
"Just because she hadn't dressed attractive doesn't mean she can't do it. She just felt like dressing up today and it nobody's business." Bella said and few girls nodded.
"You're right Bella. She might not have dressed up because of this kind of things and she alone has her reasons."
"Yes, she might not have dressed up because she didn't want to cause a scene."
"She's going to be mine soon." A man with a mask said but nobody cared to reply him and the man just walked out with his green eyes shining bright.
"Huh, who was that?"
"Who cares? Our goddess didn't care so we shouldn't."
"Right. I just want to take a photo."
"Yeah...just one pho -"
"Silence! What's going on here!" A man in his late forties was seen entering the hall. It was Mr Rogers, the English language lecturer.
"If you're part of this class, stay but if you're not, use the door." He strictly said.
Everyone dispersed from the hall, leaving only a few students who had that class.
"Why did he have to come now?"
"He just finds fun in ruining everything."
Some students murmured within themselves.
"I need everyone's attention. Regina Phillip...meet me after this lesson."
"Okay." She said and the lesson began.
The lecturer got everybody's attention and they were all engrossed in what the man was saying. Some boys kept glancing at Gina's way but she didn't care and was just focused on the lesson.
Two hours later, the lesson finally ended and Mr Rogers walked out of the class.
"How was the lesson Gina?" A boy, Henry asked.
"It was boring but I still learnt a lot." She said and chuckled.
"Oh my goodness, she replied!" The boy said and Gina smiled.
"Like I said, I'm not a public figure or an idol, you can talk to me but please don't be clingy." She said and left.
"I'm feeling hot. Her voice is like music in my ears. I think I'm going to faint." The boy said and they all laughed.
