Chapter 11 - Chapter Eleven: "I'll Take Your Word For It"

"What do you think is the most befitting revenge on that swine?" Red hair asked. They left the party after Andrea's outburst and decided to have a late night snack at a random diner.

Red hair ordered more than just a snack, she ordered a full course meal and ate with a speed possibly faster than lightning which succeeded in grossing Andrea out.

"I don't really care," Bree said as she sipped from the cola that was placed in front of her.

"Bullshit" red hair spat out a chicken bone. "We have to find out what that dimwit cares about the most and steal it from him"

"There's the Recognition List" Lucas pointed out.

"Yes, in this week's weekly exam, I'll try to kick him off the list, that will probably ruffle his pampered feathers" Red hair said.

"You?" Lucy asked

"Yes me, what's wrong with me?" Red hair replied

"Are you even in the top fifty?" Lucas asked

"If Anna wanted to hit the books, even Andrea wouldn't be right after me" Bree informed the rest, earning a raised eyebrow from red hair, sorry, Anna.

"It's funny how we know so much about each other but never said a word to each other before" Anna laughed. "If the recognition list is something Charles really cares about, I promise you, fellow dyke, I'll kick him off"

"I'll take your word for it" Bree nodded at her.

The weekly exams in Royal High were held for the sole purpose of updating the recognition list, the students were placed according to their previous scores, for people like Bree, Andrea and the twins, they were placed in the gold class, at the top floor of the building.

It was called the gold class because it only accommodated the best of the students, from number one to fifty.

The gold class had a total of fifty students, the placement in the class was according to their previous scores, that is, Bree having to sit at the first seat for being the top student in the school and following right after her horizontally was Andrea and the fiftieth seat in the class was occupied by Anna.

The results of the weekly tests shocked everyone, Bree was still in first place but who followed right after was none other than Anna, only having a difference of eighty marks between them.

Anna was thrilled.

"I fucking did it, I kicked him out of the list" she yelled in the cafeteria.

"I was really surprised, how did you do it, did you cheat?" Lucy asked, Anna's sudden aggrandizement left Lucy thunderstruck when she saw the recognition list, she wasn't kicked out of the top five because prior to the exams, Bree made her study all night for three nights, so Lucy maintained her position at the fifth place on the list.

"I studied," Anna shrugged. "I studied hard. Why did you allow me to touch the tiger's butt?" The question was aimed at Bree.

Bree looked up from her salad to Anna "what do you mean?"

Anna smiled and waved it off.

Bree purposely made the difference between her and Anna eighty marks because she wanted people to see how amazing Anna was. That method seemed a bit too cocky but Bree probably had no other option for Anna and the others to see what Anna was capable of.

This theory was deducted by Andrea who was spiteful towards Anna.

Bree had always maintained a two hundred or more marks difference between the both of them, but she did so without thinking twice to Anna.

Minutes turned to hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, the hot summer weather slowly receded giving way for the slightly cold autumn, the colours of the trees turned different as they slowly let their leaves fall from them, the glaring heat from the sun felt a bit cold, slightly contradicting the whole definition of the sun.

The seniors at Royal High were called to the basketball court for a class, so each of them had to change out of their uniforms into their gym clothes.

The school basketball court was one out of the many they had, but this court could be said to have the best lighting, it was big even the bleachers didn't take a lot of space though it was a lot. The court itself was well measured, outside the court was a lot of space, basketball was the most popular sport in Royal High, so it got a lot of attention.

The seniors all made their way into the court for a class, they all looked weary, P.E was not a class anybody would be happy about, well, any normal person.

Andrea was thrilled, her schedule had P.E just twice a week but only one did she share with her cousins.

The last student, strolled into the court, he had long toned legs, the boy's gym shorts stopped above their knees, same with the girl's, this student looked like he'd rather be anywhere, his hands were tucked away in his pockets, he strolled towards the spot Andrea and Lucy were standing, estranged from the other students, he flashed a smile their way but Andrea rolled her eyes and Lucy squealed.

Her brother was effortlessly handsome.

"Where's Bree?" Lucy asked

"She should be here soon, prior to this class, she had karate," Lucas said.

"Was her schedule altered?" Andrea asked, Bree never had karate before gym before, except she had a death wish, and Bree was anything but suicidal.

"It was to fit her new class," Lucas told them.

Royal High was a school for the rich, but most of the rich students possessed an apathetic attitude towards education, they'd rather party till they drop or date till all eternity, the rich students had so many self inflicted distractions.

Bree's new class was for the exact purpose of remodeling the students into what their parents would be proud of.

The teachers thought those students would need a fellow teenager, especially someone as beautiful as they were, other than that, Bree had a responsible air that caused people to issue unreasonable tasks her way.

The teachers were wrong.

Some students, without doubt, worshipped Bree but that was before they discovered her sexuality. Now they were nothing but disgusted. They also felt cheated, a lesbian was granted such an amazing brain, a lesbian that was doomed to hell had such a divine beauty but they, that were holy and straight were either too unsightly or had the brains of a stone.

They felt envious.

Bree had tried a number of ways to get through to the students but it was like the door was tightly closed, probably even made of bricks, sometimes they would throw rotten fruits at her, but despite how skilled she was, she never dodged them, she felt that they needed to vent out the anger and pain they were having, so if she could be the target of their relief she was satisfied.

"Hey, hey, hey" Charles Rick attracted the attention of the students "where's your little dyke?" He questioned waiting for Andrea and her cousins to answer, but his glare was more focused on Lucas.

"What's your problem?" Lucas moved to stand in front of his twin and cousin.

"He asked a simple question, where's the lesbian?" another guy who Andrea recognized as Louisa's boyfriend chipped in.

"What do you need her for?" Andrea demanded.

In the small crowd of students, the ones Bree had taught were mixed in, most of them had nothing against Bree but they just wanted to fit in, they thought it would be fun to stigmatize Bree.

They would never blame themselves if any harm was to come to Bree because of them.

A Honor student would become dishonorable when she made a simple mistake, like being gay.

"You know, we were hoping she'd come to entertain us, that sweet ass of hers she always shakes around would do some good now since it's spring" Louisa's boyfriend said which caused Lucas to take a step forward but Lucy held him back.

"You can't beat up all of them," she whispered into his ear.

"Why would you want to beat us up, we're only telling the truth, she's already dirty, how much more filthy could she possibly become, she…" before Charles could finish that last sentence, he was already pushed to the ground.
