There was nothing that Angga and Eiji could do apart from sitting in front of the body with an awkward face and a very weak body. Angga's eyes continued to stare at the body of the man body which was now deliberately covered by his jacket. Angga and Eiji were both silents in front of the corpse, not a single word or conversation dominates.
"How long will this all end?" a question asked by Eiji at that time sounded so sad, and even Angga who heard it now turned to look at Eiji who was now looking at the body with a look that felt so sad.
Eiji's eyes now flashed with sadness. It was as if he didn't want to see terrible and sad things like what had just happened in front of his own eyes, and it was inevitable that Angga felt that Eiji would definitely experience some kind of trauma afterward. This also made Angga pat Eiji's shoulder and rub it to calm the child.
"How long have you been here, Eiji?" that's the question that spontaneously came out of Angga's mouth to Eiji. Angga admitted that he was quite curious about it, which in the end he also asked Eiji who now got up from his seat and returned to carrying his backpack.
"One year, that is, if I count the days and nights that I have spent in this labyrinth since I came, then I have been trapped in this dimension for that long" Eiji answered to Angga, the answer Eiji said when it was quite surprising to Angga who was now wide-eyed. his eyes are quite wide.
This kid has been through a lot of terrible things. That's the word that finally emerged from the mind of Angga who is currently also moving from his seat and turned his head to invite Eiji who is now inviting him to continue walking.
"Come on… we can't stay here!" invite Eiji to Angga, an invitation from Eiji at that time made Angga turn his head to look at the body lying in front of him,
"Shouldn't we bury him?" Angga asked Eiji who was now shaking his head,
"No... we don't have time because we have to find another way so we don't meet psychopaths, and again... this body will disappear by itself" Eiji replied to Angga who was now frowning upon hearing that.
"Do you have a goal?" Angga asked turning to Eiji who now turned to look at him and then nodded his head in response to that.
"Of course, we all have a goal, don't we? Everyone must have it and so do you, we all must have the same goal" explained Eiji to Angga who was now practically frowning after hearing Eiji's words who looked very sure of what he had just said.
Angga and Eiji also began to walk away from the body and explore other paths, unlike Eiji who is now focused on the road, Angga actually asked about things that made him curious about Eiji's answer some time ago.
"Eiji… how can you be so sure??" Angga asked Eiji who was now frowning and asked back,
"About what?" asked Eiji not understanding,
"How can you be sure if I have one goal in common with you as well as others?? how can you be so sure?" Angga continued explaining it to Eiji, the question asked by Angga at that time made Eiji chuckle lightly and then nodded his head as he said,
"How can I be so sure?? Of course, I'm sure! Because Angga also definitely wants to return to the world right? The point is, we all have one common goal and that is to get back into the world and that's what we're looking for right now, right? You too must be looking for a way out just like me!" replied Eiji explaining to Angga who now nodded in agreement.
"Yes… but, throughout my journey, I didn't find a door out of this place… did you who have been here for a year also not find it?" Angga asked Eiji who was now laughing hearing that,
"Hahaha ... we're not looking for a door, Angga!" said Eiji to Angga who was now frowning upon hearing that,
"Then… what are we looking for?" asked Angga still confused by Eiji's explanation.
"Actually we are not looking, Angga ... but we are waiting." Eiji clearly corrected Angga's question, which was finally confirmed by Angga who immediately asked,
"Alright… what are we waiting for?" Angga asked Eiji,
"The key… we are waiting for a key that will lead us directly to the world, that is what we will be waiting for right now," Eiji explained, and it made Angga narrow his forehead at those words,
"So… if we find the key, then we can go home because of it??" Angga asked again to Eiji who now turned his head to the right and left when he found a bend and then nodded his head.
"But… the key only comes once at a time, and as long as we wait for it, we must survive to avoid being killed by the others here, and we must not miss the key's arrival." Eiji's explanation made Angga confused again.
He has another thought about the key and the psychopaths fighting over the key. If there really is a key to our successful return, why should they kill each other for it? Why don't they unlock it together and return to the world without being cruel? which in the end took as many victims as has happened here, right now. That sentence filled Angga's mind, who now chose to frown, without saying a word.
As if knowing what was in Angga's mind, Eiji finally walked up to him and then said, "They kill each other and hurt others because the key that comes will only bring one person back to the world, and leave the rest here to wait for the key. the next one arrives." hearing what Eiji said, made Angga immediately turn his head to Eiji who again said, "And it will keep repeating itself, which makes them think that the strongest and the most feared deserve the key. They will hurt each other and will continue like that, there is no patience for waiting their turn… they all want to be free from this dimension first, which is why they will be the ones who have the heart to hurt others.
The explanation given by Eiji to Angga made him begin to understand the game in this labyrinth, and that kind of game was unacceptable to Angga. They are too ambitious to get hold of the key, so their minds go haywire and ruthlessly injure those they meet without knowing anything else.
The logic of the people who were here was already broken due to the pressure exerted by the dimension as well as the situation. That's what made Angga decide not to follow his emotions and stay in his logic as hard as he could.
Both of Angga's eyes now turned back to look at Eiji who was walking forward there, "In that case, when will the key arrive?? will we find out?" Angga asked Eiji.
Listening to the question asked by Angga, made Eiji shake his head and say, "The key arrived indefinitely…. So, what we have to do now is stay here until the key arrives." Eiji explained to Angga who also walked to keep pace with Eiji's steps.
"Are we going to find out when the key arrives?" Angga asked again to Eiji who was now nodding his head.
"Yeah… we'll definitely find out later," replied Eiji curtly.
