Chapter 17 - Visit

That afternoon, Shuta, Eiji, and Jiro were sitting in the school cafeteria which had quite a large room, they were eating the food they had just bought from there.

"Eh??" Jiro asked Shuta, causing Eiji who was sitting beside Shuta to just look at him without saying any further.

"Yeah… they're going to visit sis Yama today after school and I'm also going to visit him because he's my senior in the baseball club, so what do you think?? are you guys coming too?" Shuta asked Eiji as well as Jiro.

Hearing this offer made Jiro nod his head and agree to Shuta's invitation, but not with Eiji who now seems to be thinking, and Shuta's realization of Eiji's residence made him feel that he had to persuade him, again and again, more than when he persuaded Jiro to go with him.

"Come on, Eiji! Are you going to let me go home alone at night?!" Shuta asked Eiji who was now sighing at those words.

"I know you can go home alone without me, Shuta! We're already in the second year of middle school, after all, it's your senior brother" Eiji explained to him who was now breathing quite loudly.

"Oh come on Eiji!! If you don't come with us, then I will spread your biggest secret in elementary school! That is something I believe is very embarrassing for you!" Shuta threatened Eiji who was now looking at him very sharply, he was quite surprised by the threat posed by Shuta at that time.

"Shuta!! are you going to do that to me?! your own friend?!" asked Eiji half shouting at him who now seemed to be folding his arms in front of his chest and nodding his head with certainty.

Meanwhile, Jiro turned to the two of them in turn and asked, "What?? what secret??! come on tell me!" he asked Shuta who was now grinning.

Not …. Eiji doesn't want everyone to know about an elementary school incident that he considers to be a huge disgrace that greatly embarrassed him. Realizing that his other friend was not playing with the threat, in the end, Eiji couldn't help but follow what his friend, who he found quite annoying, wanted. "Okay! I'm coming!" Eiji replied to Shuta who was now smiling showing his teeth and then embracing Eiji's shoulder happily.

"Now! I see," said Shuta to Eiji who now chose to exhale feeling quite annoyed.

That afternoon Eiji, Shuta, Jiro, and also the seniors from the Baseball club decided to go by train to Yamagata City Hospital Saiseikan. Eiji thought about the condition of his senior, he clearly heard Shuta's words about Senior Yama yesterday. Didn't he only sleep for five hours, but why did he have to be taken to the hospital? That was the question that popped into Eiji's head at that time.

"Wouldn't it be a problem, if this many people visited him, Shuta-chan?" The question asked by Jiro at that time, made Eiji turn his gaze to Shuta who was now nodding his head in response to the question.

"It doesn't matter, because Senior Yama's condition has improved from the previous one and even his parents asked us, friends, to always come and accompany him here so that he feels comfortable and can again socialize with many people without feeling afraid," explained Shuta to Jiro Long wide, which made Jiro nod his head and say,

"Oh! Like part of the therapy huh?" Jiro asked back to Shuta who was now nodding his head quickly in response to the question.

Hearing this, made Eiji understand what Shuta said, this visit time might be deliberately used so that senior Yama doesn't feel lonely in his treatment room, and it can also be used as part of his therapy if indeed the trauma experienced by Senior Yama is related to many people.

Here they are now, a treatment room large enough to accommodate about ten internal visitors at once. Senior Yama was a child who came from a wealthy family amongst the others, that was why even the room inside the hospital was already showing the difference.

"Thank you, because you came to see me… I have become better than before thanks to all of you." Yama said to those who are now evading those words and said that it was all because of Yama's struggling efforts, which in the end they also talked about many things, which made Yama feel even happier and laughed a lot about it.

"I heard… earlier, you had some great hallucinations huh? But thank God that you are okay now" said one of the seniors to Yama, and those words made Yama look disapproved of what his friend had just said.

"Eum… can we not talk and discuss this again, Satoshi-kun?!" a word that came from Yuki's senior also made those in the room stunned after feeling the atmosphere which had turned a little more tense from the first time they visited.

Eiji felt that he knew Senior Yuki well, the girl was last year's student council president who was famous for her prowess and intelligence in leadership, and it was also reported that Yuki was good friends with senior Yama and that friendship was exactly like the relationship between Eiji and Shuta. They have known since childhood, and of course, senior Yuki will always defend and accompany senior Yama. Their friendship cannot be doubted.

"S… sorry…" Satoshi said to Yama who was now shaking his head looking at Satoshi who was now bowing his head quite seriously. It was as if he didn't actually accept the apology, but he was too kind to be cruel.

"What you should know is that I'm not hallucinating, but the doctors don't want to listen to my story ... and I also don't want you to say that I'm hallucinating or dreaming all this time, I'm not what they say ... and you should know that!" Yama said in a high tone, and it was quite surprising for all of them who heard it, who quickly nodded his head to agree with Yama's words to calm him down.

It also made Eiji feel quite surprised, Eiji felt that Yama seemed very sure of what he was saying, which in the end made Eiji feel curious and decided to ask, "What exactly have you experienced while you were asleep?? you can tell us everything, we will try to accept and understand it."

The words that came out of Eiji's mouth at that moment made Yama immediately turn to look at him, "Who are you?" asked Yama, because he just found out there is a kid who looks like Eiji in his baseball club.

"Ah! He is my friend! I brought him because I can't go home alone, hahaha…" Shuta answered explaining who Eiji was and why he could be in this room with the others, not forgetting Shuta to say while laughing with his dry laugh.

"My name is Arata Eiji, Nice to meet you, Yama," said Eiji to Yama politely, making Yama nod his head.

"If you really want to listen to it, then I will tell you everything and the truth" Yama explained to Eiji, as well as those in the room.

The room became silent, they tried to listen to the story that was about to be told by Yama, the story of his horrific 'spiritual journey' which then locked him up for a very long time until he finally returned safely and woke up like he is today.
