Chapter 7 - Enter: Wolfram's Biggest Support!

"Wolf boy! Come out!"

"Wolf boy!... You must leave! "

"Wolf boy!... "

"Wolf!..."

The voices of the overly heated crowd bellowed out from a distance.

Wolfram speechless.

What the hell?

You would think he burned their children or did something wicked to them

Though he could only see several blurry heads begin to pop out one by one on the horizon above the steep hill, he could almost imagine them holding all sorts of sticks and weapons against him.

(-_-)

Bullying… These people were bullying too much!

['Pff~... Host, you see? This is what I was telling you.] The system said with a playful tone.

[Had you listened to my advice and acted like a wolf in sheep's clothing, wouldn't you have already killed your uncle by now?]

Wolfram rolled his eyes heavenwards.

If we went with that approach, wouldn't he also be dead after killing his uncle?

[Tsk… Host, why are you so weak-hearted? Com'on!~... You're a man!]

'Still waiting for the DNA results. Wolfram commented to himself.

[Host, you are a hot-blooded male!]

'Really? Says who?'

[Com'on Host. Listen to me… Now that your uncle is on his way, this is your chance! Just look at the stone dagger and stab his eyeballs with them. Trust me; it will show your prestige!]

Wolfram wanted to send a middle finger to the heavens, inwardly cursing them for creating such a system.

What kind of sh**y advice is this?

Lalalala~... He's not listening!

Wolfram took a large nose-full of air.

'Calm down, Wolfram... calm down... Forget about the psychopath and focus on you. You need to get out of this alive!'

Wolfram was still deep in thought when suddenly, he heard an overly loud pitch cry from afar.

Say no more.

He knew who it was.

The voice was even sharper and high-pitched than several famous opera singers.

Granny Willow?

.

"Torr, you bastard! What the hell are you trying to do here?!"

Dammit! The crazy woman was here!

Almost immediately, the crowd gave way, revealing a blue-haired 34-year old woman charging in with a large wooden cooking spoon in her hand. And following behind her were her immediate family members.

Though people in this world lived for thousands of years once they broke their mortal shell… for mortals, they still lived fairly simple lives.

To properly understand their names or nicknames, there was a naming process in place that was easier for the villagers to understand.

Those who had grandchildren, like Willow, were automatically Grandma's to show their marital and family positions.

Grandma Willow only had 2 daughters, who were both married.

One of them had just given birth to a son, making her a grandmother... though she was only 34 years old.

Again, because of their short lifespan as struggling peasants, many married between 14 to 16, dying around 60~70. It was rare to see people above 73 unless they broke through their mortal shells.

It's not that it was impossible.

On the contrary, there were quite a handful of mortals that lived till 90.

But with how dangerous this world was, forget it… Just going out to fish could kill them in a blink of an eye.

Sometimes strange poisonous gasses flood the scene wiping out villages. Other times, it was the sky raining problems down on them.

In the end, because they didn't know when they would abruptly die, marrying young, starting a family, and leaving a generational hope was a must!

Amidst the crowd, the 34-year-old Grandma Willow swung her spoon, moving to the front with her entourage.

"Torr, you old bastard! Are you trying to move Wolf Boy? You! A full-grown man, picking on someone the age of your son? Bloody Bastard! If you're so full and looking for a fight, then why don't you pick on someone your own size? Come out and face his mama!"

The towering giant's face stayed expressionless, staring at the group of Nell's slowly making their way to the front.

Only this family was never afraid to oppose him, especially Grandma Willow.

Torr paid no heed to the jumping woman, feeling it an insult to banter with a mere female.

Instead, his frosty gaze landed on her husband, Titus.

"Control your wife."

"Sorry, whatever my wife says and does go," Titus replied, looking at Torr lazily.

"Weakling."

Torr was disgusted.

And The crowd once again gave the big Nell family some room.

Who doesn't know that their family was a bear family?

The women, be it daughters or mothers, were all tigers with sharp claws ready to pounce on anyone who stepped on their tails.

But when it came to the men of this family, it can be said that they seemed docile, only standing behind their women.

Just look at them?

Presently, Grandma Willow had her 2 daughters, Linda (15) and Dora (16), standing on her side like followers (sidekicks).

And what was even more eye-boggling was the fact that Dora was holding her new spouted baby in one hand and a giant spoon in another.

And as for their men, they just stood like shields, watching the women run rampant as they pleased.

'_'

.

Grandma Willow was livid!

Their Nell family was Wolfram's biggest Backing.

She used to be Wolfram's wetnurse, taking care of Wolfram even till this day.

Thus, she took him like her flesh and blood.

HOW HATEFUL!

Willow pointed her spoon at Torr, gnashing her teeth away.

"Sh** face Torr… If you don't explain what you're doing here, then don't even think about going further!"

In a flash, the Nell warriors moved towards Wolfram's hut, planning to protect him with their lives.

You want to move him in her presence?

Heh… who gave you the guts?

Very rapidly, Willow moved further, drawing a line on the ground with her battle spoon.

And when she looked at the crowd again, her eyes were even colder than before.

At the same time, her children, their husband, Titus, and the rest of the entire Nell Family stood on the other side of the line.

None of them were smiling, all looking like beastly creatures.

There was a reason why Grandmother Willow never smiled.

It's said that her smile was far scarier than her frowning or angered face.

And today, many finally believed this to be so.

"Listen up… I think I've made myself clear. Cross this line… and I guarantee that you would have offended me!"
