Chapter 8 - A Perfectly Executed Plan

The air was filled with malice.

It was the Nells against them all!

Heh.

The old lady was stern, looking like she was about to devour everything within her path.

Torr had limited patience with his brute of a woman.

He hated wasting his saliva. But as the entire crowd had now cowered behind him, giving him aggrieved expressions, an even better plan filled his mind.

Just like the case in his Nephew's matter, why not use this to his advantage too?

Very tactfully, he stared at his son, Fabian, and the 2 understood each other's thoughts.

Fabian Lockhart.

It was no secret that he was the complete opposite of Wolfram, though they were cousins with the same Grandfather.

Wolfram was soft-looking, almost too womanly because of his frail and weak physique.

But Fabian was burly, confident, and a legend around the village.

At his age, the 15-year-old Fabian had proven far above what others in his category could.

And when talking about his past, they were indeed quite a lot.

In the village's history, Fabian was the 6th person to take down a mountain Serpent lion all on his bare hands at the age of 11.

Even though this creature was just a mortal beast, its strength and sheer size weren't something to joke about.

And when it came to hunting and meeting the quotas, he was exceptionally talented, going straight for the kill.

The villagers relied on the strong to protect and look after them.

But what about Wolfram?

He was a little gatherer, picking firewood, mushrooms, and whatnot with the other 7~9-year-old children. And he still did this even till this current age of 14.

Shame!

The vast differences between the 2 only outlined the irony of Wolfram being the late Village Chief's son while his cousin was a shining star.

And when this rising village star spoke, people gave him respect!

.

Fabian squinted his eyes, staring at the Willow.

"Grandmother Willow Nell… I call you this because I'm giving you the respect owed to someone as titled as you are."

"Okay. And so what? Am I supposed to jump around and kiss your butt because of this? Young man, please, I'm a married woman."

"_"

"Husband, look! he's bullying me!"

Almost immediately, Titus stepped forward, protecting his beloved woman. "Younging… You better not be having any thoughts on my woman!"

[The crowd, Fabian]: "_"

~Pff

Wolfram was trying his best not to laugh.

F***!

He had the best supporters in the world!

The people in Clovis village were terrified of them, especially Grandma Willow.

Behind her back, they would call her a shrew and make wild accusations about her.

But to Wolfram, she was a very straightforward and passionate person who didn't even know how to hide her anger.

If you offended her, she would come up straight to you rather than scheming behind your back.

Whether it was this world or his last, no one was perfect.

Granny Willow was a very honest or morally upright person. Her only flaw was that wild temper.

In truth, she would never hurt a person, even when angry. However, she knew how to intimidate them with her loud mouth and scary looks.

No one has ever seen her fight but always felt that she would be a brutal fighter.

Why? Because of the image she had created over the years.

Wolfram felt it funny because these villagers didn't know that she was a person who could bark but not bite unless driven to the extreme end.

However, this didn't stop them from taking her as a true village Gangster!

.

Fabian felt a vein pop in his head.

"Old Grandmother Willow…" Fabian's expression was cold. "I'm sorry if you took my earlier words the wrong way. But I believe that no one else did."

The crowd nodded in agreement.

The conversation was initially going one way, then suddenly diverting to a completely opposite way.

Some even worried if they had too much wax in their ears and misheard him.

But it looks like it's all up in that crazy old woman's head.

A fierce light shone in Titus's eyes before fading away as though it was never there.

His expression was lazy and unbothered.

"Well then, boy Fabian, if you have something to say, say it already. Honestly, why are you and your father such long-winded people?"

They?

They were the long-winded ones?

Fabian didn't even bother to react.

He felt that if he continued talking in these people, his head would explode all on its own.

'No wonder father hates seeing them so much.'

Wolfram pushed through the Nell's, finally showing himself.

He thoughtfully stared at Torr and Fabian.

'They were taller than the fragments in his mind.

Willow wanted to speak and pull Wolfram behind her, but Titus suddenly intervened for the first time.

Some battles had to be fought for oneself. But no matter the outcome, they would be with Wolf.

"Now then… uncle, cousin… why have you brought an angry crowd to my site?"

Torr gave Wolfram several glances.

Though the past Wolfram was also never afraid of him, it can also be said that the past him had accepted his fate and weakness.

But this Wolfram before him has a fighting spirit in his eyes.

Torr thought nothing more of it, feeling that the boy had changed after facing death severally.

But so what?

In the end, wasn't the outcome still the same?

What he, Torr Lockhart, wanted, no one could take away!

"Nephew, though it saddens me, I have to think of the interest of the entire village."

Wolfram nodded. "Well, that's understandable. So, my dear uncle... What have you decided?"

interesting…

The corners of Torr's lips raised very broadly for the first time since he stepped out.

"Little Nephew… I think you're mistaking the key point here. It's not what I want, but what everyone wants," Torr said, giving a strange look to his son, who in turn gave off a signal to the men hidden amidst the crowd.

And before they knew it, the angry mob sang in unison.

"Wolf boy must go!"

"Yes! Wolf boy must go!"

"We want him out!"

"Send him packing!"

Everyone was chanting their decisions out loud.

However, the person they were targeting was desperately struggling not to do a happy dance.

Hahahaahahah~

He did it! He did it!

['Congratulations, host. You've gotten what you wanted - You've now been kicked out of Clovis Village ALIVE!']
