PRESENT DAY...
The 'abandoned house' was nothing like Liam imagined.
He woke up to the scent of lavender candles spread out across the room. He found himself lying on the floor. It made a creaking sound when he sat up.
"Is this where you live" Liam asked , catching the scent of Dean.
"It's a work in progress" came the response, completely ignoring Liam's question. "But I'm happy to see that you are already starting to utilize your senses"
"Why did you take me here?" Liam asked, standing up. "And where is Jorden"
"One question at a time" Dean said, walking toward him.
"Why am I here?" Liam asked, starting to lose patience.
Dean walked around Liam, watching and waiting curiously. "I'm going to train you" he said. He pulled out a stick and launched it at Liam's head.
Liam caught it with one hand and smiled.
'This seems too easy'
"First lesson" Dean shouted. "Never under estimate your opponent"
Before Liam realized what was happening, the stick snapped and a watery substance leaked out.
Liam started to cough.
'I can't breathe'
"That substance contains a tiny amount of Moonsteron. It is a substance that hunters created why extracting and combining other forms of elements with silver" he said. "Contrary to popular beliefs, silver itself isn't deadly to supernatural creatures"
"What have you learnt so far?" Dean asked with a smile.
"Don't such any artillery your opponent throws at you, even if it looks harmless"
Liam nodded, finally recovered from the Moonsteron substance that he breathed in.
'That is some strong stuff' Liam thought, thinking about what Moonsteron can do in large amounts.
"I understand"
HOURS LATER...
Liam got ready to leave drenched in sweat. He had spent hours dodging various items Dean launched that him. They fought each other but the fight didn't last more than a minute...
"Meet me where I found you and Jorden in Wolf Woods everyday after school" Dean said, finally satisfied of Liam's progress.
