Casey,
By the time you read this letter, I am assured that your mother and I were dead. We can no longer embrace and commiserate with you when you are upset or frustrated, and I believe that is the worst period. We don't want you to think we abandoned you; perhaps that was fate's plan all along, my daughter.
Is it possible that it's also my responsibility since I pulled you away from the destiny that awaits you? Can you blame me for not wanting to hurt you, as a father? We have also noticed your mother that someone is spying our house on sometimes, but although I can't see their faces, I know you are what they are seeking. I don't want you to suffer, and I don't want you to put your life on the line in a world that is rife with violence and bloodshed. Casey, that's not the life your mother and I envisioned for you. We want you to grow up normal and undisturbed by your fate. That's why we kept your genuine identity a secret from you. You are the one who has the power to eliminate the two races who are wreaking devastation and turmoil in our world; you are the one who is meant to rule this century in opposition to their rulers.
I know you still don't get what I am confessing, so I will encourage you to hunt for Amarah Austin, also known as Madam A. She will be a huge benefit to you on your quest, and I am sure she will be pleased to see you. Merely show her the necklace your mother and I gave you, and she'll know who you are. You will be secure in her hands, put your faith in me.
My daughter, I have no regrets for taking you away from your mission for so many years, but now I see that this is the only way for you to save yourself and the whole of humanity. I don't want you to experience this life, but I can't stop; it's already engraved in your fate.
Please always remember that we will fight for your safety until the very last breath. Your mother and I love you.
Until next time, my child. Goodbye.
Your Father,
Yael.
Liam instantly read the content of the letter Casey had withheld from him after reading the letter Casey had concealed from him. Now, as he walks with his tears streaming down his face, he watches how the mysterious man stuffed Casey into his car and how he did nothing to help her, even knowing he had the ability to defeat the enemy.
When he followed Casey earlier, he arrived at the Bar but was unable to enter due to the fact that minors were not permitted, so he waited outside, but he did not expect the opponent to arrive with Casey in his arms. He wanted to save the woman and shouted something to catch everyone's attention outside of the place, but all he could do was watch the automobile carrying his claimed sister leave. He hates himself for what occurred to this day, and he can't bear it when he discovers anything bad happens with the woman.
He sat down in a corner again, unable to stand the torrential rain. It was falling hard and fast, and all he could do would be to weep.
"I need to identify the person named in this letter; she may be able to help me in saving the life of ate Casey." As he re-read the middle section of the letter, Liam noticed the name of a woman for whom Yael was seeking to her daughter who might assist her with her journey. Despite his youth, Liam now appears unconcerned about what happens to him as long as he is committed to saving his sibling from harm.
He didn't know where to begin, but he was bold and confident in what he intended to do. He has no idea where he got his bravery and maturity from because he does not know his origins, but he is confident that he came from a powerful figure with a remarkable skill comparable to his.
When Liam sensed an unfamiliar guy alongside him, he stopped sobbing and glanced at him, then stepped away a bit, believing it was an opponent or someone related to the man who abducted Casey.
"Don't worry, I am a friend; my name is Lazarus, and I was on my way home when I noticed you alone and crying in the dark corridor; is there a problem? Can I help you?" The man insisted on knowing why Liam calmed down since he assumed it was an opponent, so he thoroughly examined it before returning to his seat.
"I h-have no p-problem." Liam lied while avoiding looking at Lazarus; if you look attentively, the guy has a nice figure and charisma, and furthermore his melting smiles; if others think he's still in his twenties, they are incorrect; he's now thirty-five.
"However, why do I notice anything unusual in your eyes? If I just read it, 'I am sad' will be read immediately." Lazarus chuckled as he peered into Liam's eyes, he didn't know and didn't quite understand, but when he first saw Liam, he felt peculiar, as if energy was dragging him closer to the boy.
He was Killian's elder brother and hailed from a well-known family, the Moreau family. Despite the fact that they were brothers, they were remarkably different. Lazarus is usually cheerful and outgoing, whereas Killian is only his blank expression that everyone can see; he wants to be alone and does not like to interact with the audience though no one wanted to speak with him because of his lethal appearance.
Even with this behavior, Killian is unrivaled in his legal intellect and arguing skills. To say the least, Killian is the greatest and smartest of them all, according to the majority of his family admirers which in turn is agreed upon by all observers in every case handled by their family, in fact, Killian is one of the ten highest-paid lawyers in the world.
"You resemble my brother, except he constantly has a lifeless face, whereas you are plainly nice." At the same time as he quietly chuckled, Lazarus continued glancing at Liam's face as if he had seen it before, and he could not really help but grin as he spoke to the boy.
"Which brother are you referring to?" Liam wondered as he glanced at Lazarus in bewilderment, who appeared to be far away and deep in thought.
Despite their vast differences, the siblings Killian and Lazarus have remained close and their hearts have not drifted away. However, their father prefers Lazarus because he is social, whereas their father constantly blames Killian for anything that goes wrong, even if he had nothing to do with it, however, there is a deeper reason for this. Even though he had changed home and lived in a faraway but comfortable environment, Lazarus knew that his brother had never held anger towards him, and even though he had moved house and lived in a faraway but comfortable environment, he did not forget to visit his older brother when he does nothing.
The siblings are of legal age to start a family and marry, but they have no intentions to do so at this time, particularly Killian.
Lazarus, on the other hand, is set to marry the daughter of their family's business partner, and he is the so-called new leader of their werewolf pack. He would succeed his father since he was elderly and no longer capable of leading his people and race. Despite the fact that Killian is stronger and more powerful, Lazarus is still his father's pick since he is the eldest son and he doesn't trust Killian because he knows how he gets angry at things he doesn't like and then he doesn't want to govern a wolf-like him for a long time.
When Killian gets enraged, he is a completely different person. Actually, no one can control him, and he is likewise feared by other races. When he asked their employees a crucial question, for example, they couldn't answer it without quivering or averting their gaze from his lethal glare. Even still, only their mother and Lazarus understand Killian, and they both hope that a moment will come when someone will embrace Killian unconditionally and teach him how to control his emotions. Many people like him, but no one wants to reveal their feelings for him because of the uneasiness or fear that arises whenever they encounter him.
"His name is Killian, and did you know he's one of the toughest individuals I've ever met? You will surely like him when you see him; I'm not sure but he's terrific." Lazarus appeared to relish delivering those words; he knew that what Killian didn't like was loud and has naughty behavior, and he knew that was the child in front of him right now.
And Liam's answer was a feeble smile; even though he tries to seem pleased, he can't, he's scared of what can happen to Casey, especially because the creature holding her isn't an ordinary one.
"Do you want to eat? I know you're hungry, so come on in and I'll give you foods to eat." When Lazarus spotted Liam's lack of enthusiasm, he asked him to eat with him at a nearby restaurant. Lazarus felt at ease with him during their brief conversation. Every time he spoke to Liam, he expressed his thoughts and smiled.
Liam did nothing as Lazarus led him to an opulent restaurant where he was served delectable cuisine he had never eaten before in his life. Almost as much food as Lazarus requested could now be purchased in a huge, pleasant home.
While he was dining, he seemed to have forgotten about his dilemma and was simply enjoying gazing about at the stunning and wealthy establishment; everyone who ate there was wealthy and dressed in finery, unlike him. Regardless of his looks or standard of living, Lazarus makes him feel comfortable in that area. It's no surprise that Lazarus is admired for his generosity to everybody.
"Ate Casey will be amazed when she visits this location," Liam remarked with his eyes wide open, expressing his awe and excitement at the magnificence of the restaurant where they dined. Lazarus couldn't help but smile at Liam's outburst; he could only see the child's delight in his face.
"Can you clarify to me what you're trying to say?" Because of the loudness of the music in that place, Lazarus claimed to Liam that he could not hear what the youngster was saying. He attempted to approach the child to comprehend what he was saying, but he really can not hear what the child was saying. Fortunately, the music faded after a time, leaving only a melody to contribute to the pleasant ambiance.
Lazarus wanted to say anything else but could not because his phone rang and it was his father who was calling, so he took it and answered it right away.
"I am going to go for a bit; I simply need to speak with someone," Lazarus told Liam and then walked to the comfort room to have a lengthy conversation with his father. Before leaving, he advised Liam to finish his lunch and not be ashamed to eat everything on his plate.
Meanwhile, Liam continued to eat, and Casey was still thinking to himself that he had no idea where she was. Suddenly, his attention returned to the letter that Casey had given him as all he could think about. When he spotted it on his leg relaxing, he thought he lost it and appeared to be yanked by a thorn in his throat.
"Madam Austin!" a woman's voice
"Yes?" Despite her wrinkled face, an elderly woman in her 70s turned around and could see the strength of her physique and the beauty of her appearance despite her age.
"Do you want to answer the phone someone wants to talk to you?" the woman inquired, and she approached the elderly lady right away.
"No." she used simple diction and promptly went to the menu to pick when she would eat.
"But Madam A—"
"I am busy right now and I'm thinking a lot. Please, not now Lia." She uttered.
"But Madam, It's about your son Yael," The woman explained why the old woman had stopped what she was doing, and as soon as her attention was drawn to her, she grabbed her bag from the table and walked out of the restaurant to speak with the someone on the phone.
When Liam heard the name uttered by a lady, his eyes nearly expanded; it seemed familiar to him as if he had previously read it, so he looked at the letter he was carrying with a smile on his face.
(I know you still don't get what I am confessing, so I will encourage you to hunt for Amarah Austin, also known as Madam A. She will be a huge benefit to you on your quest, and I am sure she will be pleased to see you. Merely show her the necklace your mother and I gave you, and she'll know who you are. You will be secure in her hands, put your faith in me.)
He dashed out of the restaurant after reading those lines in the letter to pursue the older woman.
