Chapter 10 - The Beggining

3000

The legend of Werewolves and Vampires has been handed down through our age, with the assumption that it was simply written in a book and would not occur in real life. Most people are unaware, however, that these creatures, like us humans, live normal lives and only change their form when the full moon appears and they are taken away by their emotions.

Wolves and Vampires have been among us for a long time, but for the most part, they have remained silent. Every vampire and werewolf has a person of their breed that possesses a unique power and ability that no one can match, when there is another conflict between their sides, they will identify this leader as the one who will lead them.

"Mom, I passed the bar examination, and I am going to be a lawyer, just like you've always wanted me to be!" Casey exclaimed gleefully, leading her mother, who was washing their clothing at the time, to shout out loud due to happiness.

Their family was raised in poverty, yet they have no financial needs of their own, It didn't deter Casey from pursuing her long-held ambition of becoming a lawyer. In order to accomplish her ambition, she helps her father and mother in seeking work. She might have worked at a canteen, a masseuse, or even spent the entire day standing in the heat of the sun handing out the over a hundred fliers she was carrying. She has experienced practically every adversity that life has to offer. She is her parent's only child, so even if they don't have enough money to send her to law school, they disregard it in order to provide her with a great education and the opportunity to pursue her dream job.

Vera smiled as she approached her daughter and hugged her warmly, indicating that she was pleased by the news her daughter had shared.

"I am overjoyed by that news, and I want you to know how proud I am of you; we are both proud of you. Wait, your father should know about—"

"I already knew and heard it before you can tell me. Our daughter's brilliance is evident; she definitely inherited it from me when it comes to intelligence." Yael was so pleased with himself that he acted as if what he was saying was true, he was Casey's father, which prompted Vera to hit him on the arm for being misbehaving.

"I am kidding, since we are his parents, she presumably inherited our brilliance and kindness," Yael said it was a reason to make Casey laugh, her eyes were full of enthusiasm and excitement that day since she knew that was where her family's success would begin.

"My darling, we are happy for you. We know you have been looking forward to this for quite some time. It was well-deserved." Casey's father said something serious, prompting the girl to embrace him, and the three of them hugged out of sheer delight.

"And it wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for your encouragement and trust in me, mom and dad." Casey smiled and said something that made Vera cry with pleasure. As a mother, she is proud of what her child has accomplished.

"First and foremost, we have a gift for you that we have been saving money for it for a long time, knowing that you would pass. Wear it as a constant reminder of our love for you." Yael stated it and instantly put a white moon necklace on the girl; Casey recognized it as magnificent, but she couldn't question her parents about it because she knew they wouldn't respond to her.

"I am not a great admirer of jewelry, but thank you." uttered the woman at the same moment as she smiled.

Casey has not made any mistakes since that day, and numerous possibilities have presented themselves as little more than a consequence. As a result, she has been able to save money and purchase a home, which she hopes to surprise her parents with this Christmas. Casey used to live in that small house; they simply lived in the squatter area, where she could hear people suffering and killing every day. She knew her parents wanted to move as well, but they couldn't because they are short on money, and the money they earn is insufficient to pay for the house, their daily food, and to save for Casey's college. So Casey scraped together enough money to purchase a home that she knew her parents would really like.

She was so excited to inform her parents about her surprise that she considered walking behind their little home.

When she realized the body of her parents was full of blood and her parents' wrists were bound, she couldn't open her lips any longer. She attempted to approach her parents, but they pushed her away.

"Run away, Casey! they're just upstairs of our house, they want to kill you; get out of here!" Yael, Casey's father, said it quietly yet emphatically. His face was covered with bruises and blood, making the girl feel bad for him.

"I can't—" The girl's only response was to sob that she couldn't leave her parents, but her parents insisted that she should go.

"Listen to us, Casey. When they see you, they will kill you; if you have mercy, listen to me; we are willing to die for you, go away. As long as they haven't smelled you yet, please." Casey still wanted to talk to her mother, but she couldn't since she was able to shove and kicked by her parents out, forcing her to end up outside at the rear of their house.

She couldn't stand the anguish any longer and decided to walk back there, but she heard footsteps down their stairs as if they were coming from their home's second floor. Even though her parents were shaking their heads and indicating that she should not go and simply hide, she was able to hide at the rear of their home while softly weeping.

"Where are you keeping your daughter and who is she?" A guy asked. He is not far from her parents' age, there were five individuals accompanying this man who, when observed and scrutinized, appeared to have something unusual about them.

"No matter what you do, you will not be able to take and kill our daughter, what should have happened will happen. She'll kill you until she killed everyone in your breed; it's written in her palms, and there's nothing you can do about it." Yael loudly proclaims, despite his worsening condition, has maintained his courage and defended his child to death.

"That's what I won't let happen!" As his fangs and nails grew longer, the unknown guy screamed boldly and attacked Casey's father with all his strength until he died, Its strength is undeniable, and it may be unrivaled by anyone.

The woman couldn't believe what had happened to her father; she wanted to scream but couldn't, so she simply cried as she watched her parents die. When the unknown guy killed Yael, he quickly turned his attention to Vera, who was wailing and yelling her husband's name.

Later, he brutally murdered Vera, and this is why Casey was able to close her eyes since she couldn't stand to witness her mother being murdered.

That was the start of Casey's incomprehensible fury towards unexplained beings known as vampires. Her parents didn't tell her anything about these creatures, but she sensed they were holding a great secret from her, that she needed to know. Whatever that secret is, it was almost certainly the cause of their deaths, as well as the reason they kept her hidden from those beings.

"I swear, I will revenge your deaths."
