Chapter 27 - The Most Important Thing!

"Are you sure I should do it?" Jayke asked a little holding back his emotions after Carla asked him to try on the formal clothes in his apartment.

A quick nod Carla gave Jayke. Oh come on, how will Carla know how to dress Jayke if he wears those clothes for a few hours, which is when she knows the young man in front of her she has never seen once in formal clothes.

"Okay, I'll wear it."

Soon Jayke stepped into his room to change his clothes into the formal clothes he had.

.

.

Almost ten minutes passed, Carla waited for Jayke who never came out of his room.

"Why did it take him so long? He didn't do anything weird, did he? Wait...he's not a woman who has to dress up first, so why does he spend so long in his room?" Carla's monologue talking to herself after not finding Jayke out of his room.

Inevitably, Carla quickly walked toward Jayke's door and was busy knocking on Jayke's door.

"Jayke, you're all right, aren't you? You're not doing anything weird on the inside, are you?"

Questions like those that just came out of Carla's lips.

Click!

"I'm fine," said Jayke, who opened the door with the tie around his neck looking messy.

Carla burst out laughing uncontrollably. This time she could guess that Jayke didn't come out of his room because he couldn't tie a tie.

"Wait ... are you sure you will come to the office or the event in this outfit?" Carla asked who seemed not to believe what Jayke was wearing.

A quick nod Jayke gave. Oh come on, he doesn't keep as many formal clothes as he is wearing in his wardrobe, so of course, he already thinks the clothes he is wearing are the right clothes for his disguise.

"If you're wearing this outfit to be Nial, then I have to tell you that you're very amateur, and don't know what your role is."

Jayke frowned, he didn't understand why Carla would say such a thing.

"You mean?" Jayke asked finally asking Carla for an explanation.

Carla took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Do you realize that Nial is a fashion-savvy person?"

This time Jayke was silent. Honestly, he didn't know anything about it.

"Is that so?" Jayke asked innocently.

Really if Carla didn't tell him, then he might just put aside what Carla had just said.

Carla couldn't help but take a deep breath. She couldn't help but think that Nial's twin brother didn't know such a small thing.

"Okay, you wait here, I'll buy some clothes that fit you as Nial," said Carla, finally taking the initiative to help Jayke.

"Is that so?" Jayke asked again as if he wasn't too sure of Carla's opinion.

Carla took a deep breath and rolled her eyes lazily.

"You wait for me here, I'm going to go shopping for a bit," Carla finally said as she left.

"Are you okay by yourself? I'll accompany you," said Jayke, who felt bad about troubling Carla.

Carla gave Jayke a quick shake of the head in refusal.

"If you come along, it means that you reveal your own identity, and it will backfire on you and the plans you are preparing."

Soon, Jayke agreed with Carla's words which he thought were true.

"Then you can use my card, I'll message you the card pin," said Jayke finally handed his card.

There's no way he didn't give his card if the things Carla wanted to buy were all his needs.

"That's better," Carla said with her faint smile before the girl left Jayke inside his apartment.

'Huh~ I should have realized that Nial's usual clothes are the most important thing in disguise, you're embarrassing Jayke!' Jayke's monologue who realized that he was an amateur in what he was doing.]

"Arghh, my body and fingers feel stiff after finishing these few chapters," whispered Carren who finally stretched her body slightly leaning back on the bench she had been sitting on.

"Carla? Can you hear me already?" Carren whispered, who for some reason wanted to communicate with the girl in the novel's character.

Silence…

There was not the slightest answer, as usual, the girl who was her shadow friend always answered her, even when she was with Jasver.

'What's with her? What a shame, is she still in the world of novels that she can't answer my question?' Carren's monologue in her mind.

Ddrrt

A short message suddenly entered her cellphone.

[Hi, are you still busy writing the continuation of your novel?]

A faint smile without being noticed by Carren was clearly imprinted on her beautiful face.

"Good grief! Be aware, Carren, Jasver is only your best friend as well as your editor, so don't expect more from him," Carren whispered again, trying to remind herself.

With a cheerful heart, Carren also replied to the short message that had just been sent to her.

[I just finished finishing a few chapters to be published, to be precise I'm stocking chapters so I don't get too overwhelmed]

The honest answer Carren finally gave Jasver.

[That's good! Would you like to meet me at the cafe earlier? I'm feeling a little bored, and I'd like some opinions from you on what I'm finding]

Again, Carren seemed to be smiling broadly, more excited than before.

Oh come on, how could she not be happy, if the person she's been monitoring from afar now feels close, isn't that a wonderful thing?

[Okay, I'll see you, is it okay if I see you tonight? Because after this I will finish one chapter first?]

Less than a minute, Jasver, who seemed equally excited about their conversation, immediately replied to Carren's message.

[Of course, I don't care what time you want, you can take it easy as a fan of your novel, as well as your editor and your best friend, of course, I'll be waiting for you, so don't be awkward when you say things like that ^^, I'll be waiting for you at the Felice cafe ]

A scream of Carren's voice suddenly broke out in her room, not to mention the small jumps of joy that Carren did in her room.

"Ah, I think I fell in love with him!"

{Hey! You can't fall in love with him until you become Jayke's lover right!}

Laughter just broke out when she finally heard Carla's voice again which had appeared unexpectedly.
