Carren and Jasver have now talked a lot, both seem to be able to enjoy the time they deliberately vacated with laughter and a few jokes and opinions that they each expressed.
"So you have a sister?" Carren asked when she heard Jasver accidentally mention that his younger sister knew about his job, Not only that, Jasver also said that he had also invited his younger sister to read novels on the platform where he worked
"You're right, I have a younger sister who was very spoiled for me, but suddenly my sister told me she was dating my best friend, if you were like me what would you do?"
Carren blinked slowly. She didn't think that Jasver would just ask her opinion, she thought Jasver just wanted to tell her about his family, without asking for her opinion.
Was it true that Jasver was now comfortable with her?
Carren wasn't a hypocrite if she started to feel a little confident if there was still a chance for her that her relationship with Jasver would be more than friends.
"I will agree because after all, I love both of them. If you have a friend doesn't that mean you already know him well, and if you've been trusting him as a friend, it means you believe that your friend will cover up your flaws and the other way around, so I think it would be good if your sister is with your best friend which means you can monitor the two of them closely."
Jasver blinked his eyes slowly. Honestly, he couldn't believe that Carren would agree to it quickly without thinking about his feelings.
"I know it won't be easy for you, because you are afraid that there will be problems between the two in the future that will affect you, right?" Carren whispered back when Jasver was still digesting Carren's previous sentence.
"Y-you think what I think?" Jasver asked a little surprised when he heard Carren who could understand the other point of view.
"Of course, how could I just put your point of view aside," Carren said finally trying to side with Jasver.
She knew very well that all such things were too shocking for him, especially his best friend and sister of course to be people he really loved.
"If you understand my position, then what will you do?" Jasver asked Carren again.
"I will give them a chance because they are people you love, but your attitude must not change and be impartial if later in the future they have problems unless they need you as a mediator."
Jasver took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
"You're right, it seems your words make sense, I'll try it like that, do you want to help me?" Jasver said, ending the question to Carren.
"So, what can I help you with, do I have to meet your best friend and sister so I can understand them too?" Carren asked cheerfully without feeling burdened or reluctant to meet people close to Jasver.
Jasver's eyes blinked slightly at the question from Carren which he didn't expect.
"Are you okay with meeting my sister and best friend?" Jasver asked again.
"Why not, if indeed I may meet them unless you do not allow it."
Jasver nodded his head slowly and told Carren that tomorrow he would try to get the two of them to meet the girl in front of him.
"Okay, tomorrow we will meet again here with your sister and best friend, looks like it will be fun," said Carren.
A smile Jasver gave Carren. He was really happy to hear Carren say things that made him happy.
{Woah, your progress is so fast, I didn't expect that you are really an ambitious person like this, you don't intend to meet Jasver's best friend and his sister to replace my position as your friend right?}
'Oh Carla, how can I replace her, her presence alone is very unique, there's no way I can replace her just like that.' Carren's monologue heard Carla who seemed jealous if Carren met new people other than herself and Jasver.
Oh come on, Carla and Carren both think of each other as their first friends, so it's not strange if Carla is a little jealous of the new person who might take her place.
Carren realized that she couldn't say anything right now in front of Jasver, and Carla's condition which clearly needed her attention and response, she finally decided to tell Jasver that she was going to the toilet first.
.
.
"Hey, don't you know if I'm with someone else, I can't reply to what you said, because maybe other people who don't understand it will think I'm crazy? And how can I replace your position Carla, after all, you are my unique first friend, so ... I can't just leave you."
There was silence for a few minutes until Carren could hear a small sob.
"Are you crying? Hey… don't cry Carla, I'll still be your best friend," Carren said trying to calm Carla down.
{Thanks Carren, I.-I thought you were tired of being friends with me}
"You're silly, don't worry, I won't let you go as my best friend, so don't worry like that, and..—"
Carren paused her sentence checking the time on her cellphone.
"Looks like I have to go back to my seat to accompany Jasver, I don't want him to feel weird with me, I'm going to get out of here first... ok?"
{Hum}
After that, of course, Carren came out of the toilet and met Jasver again.
.
.
"Am I taking so long?" Carren asked just small talk.
"A little bit, but it's okay," Jasver said.
"Sorry, ah… don't we order something to drink or eat first?"
Jasver reflexively patted his forehead lightly. He almost forgot to offer it.
"You're right, we should order something to eat and drink before continuing our conversation."
Of course, Carren nodded her head quickly.
[She wants to see you guys, so take your time tomorrow, since she's excited to see you two, you guys don't disappoint me]
A message Jasver sent so he didn't forget to take Asher and Jacey.
'Hopefully, tomorrow will go as smoothly as expected.'
