(Four years later)
High within the heavenly realm, Ayamash, the gods had gone through and begun selecting human souls. They had become more active of late.. and now they had gathered five gods, each of whom had selected a mortal soul.
Each of these five souls would be resurrected with powers granted to them by the gods based on their wishes or based on the nature of their souls, and when they were reborn, they would become what we call Deities.
The Deities all bowed in a large hall. There were three girls and two boys, each of them wielding a weapon. Before them stood a figure who looked down on them. A shroud of black aura shifted around his body as pale, white eyes peered through the shadows down on the Deities.
The shadowy figure stood from his throne, facing the his five gods and the reincarnates.
"Well done in selecting your mortals, Sun-Wukong, Youlgnir, Moorza, Anubis and Ares. And into you mortals now reborn as Deities, welcome to the grand hall of gods. I am the King of Gods, Azazel. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Now, there has been a reason we have summoned you. The demon race has taken children and raised them to develop dark power, this power being something that, usually, only Aberrants would be able to access, but they have found a way to unlock it within these children."
"Children?" One of the girls asked.
"Yes, young children. Although, they would all be a bit older now, but almost all of them have died in the demon race's experiment. They have created beings strong enough to rival even some of us gods, so, in turn, we have summoned ye five. You shall be my knights in this coming tide, and you will face many quarrels and trials in the process of fighting these beings. The demons call them the Yin."
"But.. they were just kids..?"
"How did this happen?"
Came multiple questions.
"The demons.. they kidnapped children as they retreated to Purgatory, all the children being between four and thirteen years of age. From then on, they were raised in purgatory to be ruthless killers. They've been forced to watch their friends and family die. It is truly a horrible thing."
"Damnit…" one of the boys cursed. "Do we really have to fight these kids?"
"They are no longer children. That was all fourteen years ago. Now they have matured into murderous beings that would all kill you without hesitation. Do not be mistaken, they are no longer human." Azazel said grimly.
"Fine. Then we will kill them all." Said a girl, standing up. She had sharp green eyes and braided, jet black hair. She wore a black coat over a tank top and jeans and in her hand she held what appeared to be a sheathed sword.
"I appreciate your determination, Almeaya, but do not kill them without remorse, show them respect. They have had the most painful lives you could ever imagine forced upon them."
"I understand."
"But," Azazel spoke, "before you go to battle, you must learn how to manipulate aura and materialize your aura cloaks."

Over the four years that passed after Yuna became "graduated", the king of demons, Aamon, had renamed purgatory, claiming that the demons needed to think of it less as a prison and more as a home and safe place. The new name was Xinoll.
Tamashi had taught Yuna and Ygdran how to use something called an aura cloak. Apparently, Yuna had already been doing this for quite some time, her hydras being a unique form of aura cloak. Apparently, demons did not have aura cloaks, which is why she had never seen one on any demon before.
Tamashi told her that her aura cloak would grow stronger as time went in, becoming more solidified. He had explained how aura cloaks are simply the manifestation of your soul and inner aura, which is magical energy the soul gives off. Different levels of aura give off higher levels of what is called pressure, which naturally exerts from aura users.
Yuna currently was walking along the halls of Xinoll, heading up towards the black stone castle that had been erected so long ago. She strode through the dark halls and into the throne hall where she found Tamashi, who was shirtless. She saw spikes and scars all over his body, as well as strange black chains that were tied tightly around him, sometimes cutting into his skin.
All the demons had chains, Yuna did not really know why that was, but they did. Tamashi liked to hide his for whatever reason, and he became enraged when anyone saw them.
"The gods have made their move." Yuna spoke as Tamashi threw over his cloak.
He turned to face her, then grinned. She was the only person he really didn't care about hiding his chains with.
"Well, then. I think it is time we put Gatekeeper to work, wouldn't you say?"
