Rose's POV:
"Grand Duke, Princess materialized her magic during the attack of the assassin." - Mira explained and looked expectantly to me.
I understood and conjured a water ball.
Uncle's face underwent several colors in a millisecond. He was angry, shocked, surprised, amazed, then fear.
"We can't let anyone know! Rosé is still so young! She's gonna be wildly targeted once this goes out!"
"Yes, Grand Duke. I also reminded the maids and the guard that came with me to keep this a secret."
"Just that won't do! I must fortify the defenses of Rose Palace! Ron, call the Magic Association, deploy an alarm film and a guardian's barrier around this palace!"
"Understood, My Lord." - the knight bowed and then left to accomplish the task.
I noticed that my uncle is really agitated so I tried pacifying him by calling out, "Uwee~"
He gazed at me and his furrowed brows finally relaxed.
He then patted my head and said, "You really grow so fast little one. I looked away for a second and here you are! Brandishing your magic! But I guess this is a good thing, with this, you will guarantee your safety. Just always remember that Uncle is always here for you."
I clutched his arms and hugged it, and he hugged me back gently.
We broke out of our reverie when Mira shockingly said, "The Princess hadn't had her breakfast yet!"
"It must be my fault for causing a commotion so early in the morning, don't worry and I'll make amends by personally feeding her." - My uncle said seemingly embarrassed then happy, what a complicated man!
"Okay, Grand Duke. But I'll be here to supervise and to advise you. Once you got used to it, the next time you'll do it by yourself."
My uncle then nodded and Mira exited the door to prepare my breakfast.
