Rose's POV:
I heard from Mira that the Sage left after their tea session and i breathed a sigh of relief.
That man is so scary!
During the afternoon, I had my walking and magic practice. Having to come face-to-face with such a powerful man awakened my resolve to grow stronger! The peace and quiet I've experienced so far must have made me complacent, and that's dangerous!
I've exceeded my usual practice time, even after Mira left, I still continued my practice. The good thing is that I can see visible signs that I'm improving, such as the increasing number of my Experience Points.
I sat down for a bit, and it must be close to 10 pm, but I still haven't slept. I'm a bit sleepy but the unease in my heart continued to grow stronger, making me uncomfortable.
I gazed down the window and into the silent night, as my thoughts wander.

I was pulled out of my reverie by this blaring sound.
Not again!
Maybe it's an assassin that came to take my little life? Just like the other one.
I stood up and readied a water ball in front of me and a water shield surrounding me.
"Hahaha! How fun! I was right!" - said the man in the shadows.
"Gaa!" - I forgot I can't speak yet!
"No need to reply little one~" - he said as he slowly stepped out the shadows.
What greeted me was the man I've been worried about this whole day! The Sage!
What is he doing here?
"Oh! I'm here to check upon my suspicion." - he casually explained.
He can read my thoughts! That's Creepy!
"It's one of the perkes of being a transcendent rank magician. Haha!"
He's laughing so much! That's not good!
"Haha, it's because you're just so fun! Who would ever think that a baby who's not even 1 year old would be capable of using magic?" - he said while smiling widely.
