In a room with blue-painted walls, decorated by wallpapers of different professional fighters and cars, lay Avol who seemed to be asleep, but not for long, as his alarm rang throughout the room. He slapped his alarm away form the nth time this month.
It's been three years since middle school graduation and currently, he and the twins are in the twelfth grade of high school. There is only about three weeks to graduation which is exciting for all three of them. In Avol's case, he is excited as he is expecting a letter from the colleges he applied for, for further studies. As for Gabi and Bella, they were excited that they would finally break the last barrier of their relationship, with full-blown sex. This was something they had all agreed to despite their raging hormones.
Avol, got up, did some light workout for a few minutes, before taking off his clothes and going to the bathroom with his towel on his shoulder to take his bath. After he was done with his bath, he dried his body and changed his boxers before picking clothes from the wardrobe that he'd wear to school. He went downstairs to have his breakfast before going to his car, a 2018 Ford Mecurial, which he received on as a birthday gift on his seventeenth birthday, and zoomed off to school. He'd pick up the twins on the way though. It had become a regular routine for them since he got his ride.
Over the last three years, a lot of things had changed.
His cute little sister had grown and she could speak well, although she liked to stay quiet and observe or just read books that kids her age read. She seemed a bit mature for her age, and although she wasn't as observant as Avol when he was her age, she was still head and neck above her peers.
During the years, Avol had taken his father's advice and enjoyed himself, not getting lost in his thirst for power to be able to have as many options as possible. He spent time with his family friends and girlfriends. He went on dates, family parties and several events like a normal person.
As Avol was driving, he thought about all that had led him up to this point. He never for once stopped his training, although it was kept for weekends and holidays. He was at the moment six feet five inches as he had experienced a growth spurt during the past three years.
In school, he had become well known by both teachers and students because of his long-standing position as best student that he had held since the first year of high school. He had also joined the basketball team and was quite proficient in it. He decided that he'd continue playing in college and would probably decide whether or not to take it up as his carrier along the way. As for training, he had become quite an expert with bladed weapons and was on the cusp of reaching the same level when it came to blunt weapons. There seemed to be something hindering him.
For unarmed combat, he had long surpassed the realm od experts and could be considered a genuine Master in all forms of hand-to-hand he knew. He also taught the twins one or two to help incase they engage in frontal assault on the precedence that something went wrong.
He came to a stop at a normal bungalow at the end of the street, coated in yellow paint, before he horned. After waiting foe about two minutes, the front door opened revealing Gabi and Bella all dressed and ready for school. They went to the car, with Gabi at the front and Bella at the back.
"Morning Avol." Gabi said before giving Avol a peck on the lips. Bella who was using her phone just gave a simple greeting to him. Even though they had been in a relationship for three years, she still couldn't help but feel shy anytime she got intimate with Avol outside the house.
After exchanging greetings, Avol just drove off to school as they made small talk about the latest trends and happenings in school.
As they arrived school, Avol parked at his usual place in the parking lot. As they got out of the car, everyone was staring at them. Some with jealousy and some in respect and awe. The jealousy part was for both girls and boys who envied their relationship. Well, there was nothing they could do as they had already seen a preview of what would happen to them if they decided to act upon said jealousy. Avol happened to give a jock the talk, causing the guy to always be in constant fear of him, while girls had been literarily warned by the twins to stay away.
As they walked to class, Avol escorted the twins to the front of their classroom before they gave their goodbyes and separated. The twins were in the same class as they were identical in a lot of things including choice of study. Gabi was planning to go for Business Administration while Bella was going for Economics.
Avol went to his class, got to his usual sit and put his bag on the ground before sitting while waiting for the homeroom teacher to come. A lot of students, both male and female wanted to approach him to talk, but due to his reputation, they just stayed away. It was like they were approaching something that was certain danger to them. Well, it wasn't entirely his fault but due to the training and experiences he has had over the years, only trained people or extremely oblivious ones could approach him while ignoring his natural aura.
After some time, the homeroom teacher came in and started discussing about how they had finished their curriculum and how they would be going to the wider world, while giving them some advice on his opinion on how to achieve success and blah blah. Like this, the teacher talked on until the bell for the next period rang.
