Sutton Price
The air was warm, and the day was bright. Birds flew around, chirping in the sky. Sutton smiled as she stared out the window, taking in the scenario. She breathed in the scent of late summer. Autumn was near. The feeling sent warmth to her bones.
She was happy. Today, Jacob would take her out on an official date. And yes, he had come right out to ask her out, unlike previous times when he would do so under the guise of wedding preparations. Last night, he had called and said he wanted to spend the day with her. If she heard that a few days ago, she would have avoided him like a bat out of hell, but she didn't know why the invite made her giddy at present. It excited her to think about what the day had in store for both of them. Their last outing gave her memories she wouldn't forget even if she tried. She looked forward to the rest of today.
