Jameson Mackay sat in his study, which overlooked the garden. He had his feet plopped on top of his desk and he threw his head back on his swivel chair as he swung around from left to right. There was a pipe in his mouth. He was smoking tobacco. Jameson gazed up at the ceiling, which was so high up. He knew Jacob had his doubts concerning the ongoing activities at Mayce and so he tried to come up with more effective means making things go in his favour.
Jameson had requested Pacheco come see him today. The man wanted updates on recent developments. He wanted to know how far the police had gone with their investigations, and how many cargo shipments had been halted.
