Chapter 15 - 15. Back home

"Jasmine…," someone shouted, and Jasmine knew her very well.

Jasmine just smiled as she saw a woman walking towards her smiling. She did not think that the one who would pick her up at the airport was her best friend.

"How was your trip?" Diana asked as she hugged Jasmine.

"Fine," Jasmine answered while holding the travel bag.

Diana let go of her arms, and they chatted for a while, then they walked out of the airport. Jasmine could see that Diana wanted to know more about the two men.

"They haven't allowed you to bring your own car yet?" Jasmine asked Diana after seeing a waiting driver.

"Yes, they haven't allowed me," Diana answered as she entered the car first.

Jasmine followed her into the car and said, "It was your own fault for being such a disgrace and you ended up being punished."

"Shut your mouth! I'm sure soon you'll be whining," said Diana.

The car left the airport and headed straight for Jasmine's house. She was also curious about what Diana had said earlier, and several questions arose in her mind. During the journey, Jasmine was silent and finally fell asleep, so she did not realize that she had arrived home.

"Hi, Jasmine Adam," Diana called by shaking Jasmine's shoulder.

"Mmmm…," Jasmine opened her eyes "has it arrived yet?"

"Yes. Come on, let's meet your father and mother," answered Diana.

The driver opened the car door. Diana got out first, then followed by Jasmine. The driver took out Jasmine's bag and brought it into the house.

Jasmine felt that there was something strange about the atmosphere of the house. She took Diana's hand, looked at her, and asked what had happened. However, Diana didn't respond to the question in her eyes, which irritated Jasmine a little.

Diana just smiled with Jasmine, but she couldn't do anything or say it. She had promised mom and dad not to tell her everything because they were the two of them who had the right to explain everything to Jasmine.

"Tell me? What happened?!" Jasmine asked Diana with a bit of emphasis.

"If I tell you, I will be the one who will be punished by your father and mother. The more punishment I receive," Diana answered.

Jasmine sighed. She knew if Diana had said that it would be difficult to extract information from her. She finally gave up, and sooner or later, he would know what was going to happen.

"You've finally arrived, my dear," the mother said as she hugged Jasmine.

"I just arrived. Mom, what exactly is this going to be?" Jasmine answered then asked her mother again.

"Just rest first, after that, you get ready, and Diana will help you," said the mother gently, then she walked away, leaving Jasmine, who was still confused.

"Don't ask me," Diana continued with a seductive smile.

They walked to the room. Diana threw her body on the bed. Likewise, with Jasmine, she lay down right next to Diana.

"Is he all right?" Diana asked Jasmine.

"Who do you mean? Sam or Dean?" Jasmine asked back because she was sure that Diana meant the two of them.

"Sam," Diana answered.

Jasmine was silent for a moment, and she wondered if her best friend loved Sam. She was increasingly curious about the feelings that Diana had.

"Was he the one you wanted to chase all this time? So you were punished by your parents?" Jasmine asked in a probing tone.

"Just tell me how things are going," Diana said.

"Not. Before you say who you're after, Sam or Dean?" Jasmine asked, and she wouldn't answer until she knew who her best friend wanted.

Diana chuckled when she heard what Jasmine had asked. It made Jasmine confused as to why her best friend was laughing.

"How can I love Dean, he is my own brother," Diana said after she stopped her laughter.

"What?!" Jasmine screamed when she heard what Diana said.

"Keep your voice down… there's no need to shout like that. My ears hurt you know," said Diana.

"I never heard of your brother?" Jasmine asked Diana back, and Jasmine still couldn't believe it.

Diana also told everything if Dean was her brother. However, Dean doesn't want everyone to recognize him as his father's son.

So he used the last name of his mother's family. Not everyone knows the mother's last name, including Jasmine.

"How come? So you don't want to use your father's last name?" Jasmine asked again.

"Something happened that made him decide that and I don't want to remember it anymore," Diana replied.

"So Sam is the man you love then why don't you meet him? Since when did you love him and why did your parents disapprove of your relationship?" Jasmine asked Diana so many questions.

"Don't interrogate me today," Diana replied as she shifted his sleeping position, so her back was to Jasmine.

Jasmine could only see Diana's back; there were so many things her best friend had not told her. She felt guilty if she was not a good friend to Diana. Jasmine stared at the ceiling of her room and finally closed her eyes again.

"Jasmine, wake up quickly. We have to get ready," Diana woke Jasmine up.

Jasmine opened her eyes slowly, and she was silent for a moment, then looked at Diana, who was already sitting beside her. She had not fully awakened from her sleep, and her best friend looked so in a hurry.

"Let's get up quickly!" Diana said, then she got up and walked to the bathroom.

All Jasmine could do was pause for a moment, looking at the clock hanging on the wall. It turned out to be four o'clock in the afternoon. Her eyes fell on a dress in the corner of her room. She had only seen the dress, and she had not seen it at all.

Jasmine saw that two dresses were hanging in her room, her curiosity grew, and the question came back to her mind. She wondered if there would be a party tonight?

Diana walked out of the bathroom. She looked so fresh, and this sight was familiar to Jasmine because Diana often stayed at her house.

"Am I pretty, honey? Hurry up and clean yourself up because we have to start preparing," Diana said with a bit of a joke.

"Tell me what's going on first? I will not prepare until you answer my question!" said Jasmine.

"I'll tell you later, now clean yourself first," said Diana.

Jasmine got up and walked straight to the bathroom. With all the confusion in her mind. While in the bathroom, she was reminded of Caesar again.

The cleaning routine was over. Jasmine opened the bathroom door and walked out. Diana was already in her dress, and she looked beautiful.

There was a knock on the bedroom door. Diana walked closer to the bedroom door and opened it. She smiled when he saw Jasmine's mother, who was already at the door.

"It's already beautiful without makeup, what if it's done," the mother said to Diana as she stepped into the room.

"Mom, what's really going on here? Will there be a party? Why didn't anyone tell me?" The mother asked a series of questions.

The mother just smiled at her daughter's questions. She couldn't explain what would happen tonight.

"Get ready, soon the invited guests will arrive. I hope this beloved daughter will not disappoint us both," added Angela.

"Mom…,"

The mother walked towards the dress that was still hanging in the corner of the room. She took it then told Jasmine to get ready immediately.

"Get ready, and I'll be waiting for you downstairs. I love you." The mother said, then walked out of the room.

Jasmine looked at her mother's departure, and then her gaze returned to Diana. She wanted to know what had happened.

"Don't ask me again!" Diana said as she closed the bedroom door.
