Chapter 20 - 20. So Big Disappointment

"I told you he's not a good man for you. Forget your love because he will never be able to make you happy," said Diana, who was also annoyed with what Caesar had done.

Jasmine was just silent. She had been trying to fight for her love even though. She had seen all the bad things about Caesar being with women. And the father had already shown all the evidence about Caesar, which is very inappropriate.

She sighed. She felt that what Diana said was true, and she was so stupid because of the love in her heart. Diana sees Jasmine, and she doesn't like it when her best friend is so sad because of a man who doesn't deserve love.

"How about we race? If I lose then I'll tell you the man I'm after," Diana said defiantly to Jasmine.

Jasmine looked at Diana. She smiled at her best friend, knowing exactly how to distract her.

"I do not want to because you always lie to me!" Jasmine replied, pretending to be angry because Diana was constantly arguing.

"I'm serious this time," Diana continued.

Jasmine looked back at Diana, seeing the seriousness in her best friend's eyes. So she agreed to what her friend wanted.

"Okay. I accept your challenge," Jasmine said as she put her helmet back on.

Diana smiled. She managed to make her friend excited again. She didn't want Jasmine to grieve over such an unworthy man.

Jasmine had already prepared herself for the racing arena, which just happened deserted right now. She couldn't stand the urge to ride her motorbike anymore to get rid of her disappointment. Maybe it was enough for her to fight for her love because the love he fought for did not do the same.

The motorbike engine sounded so loud the two of them were ready to compete in speed. Who will win this time is not essential to Jasmine or Diana because a race like this can give satisfaction.

A young man asked to give the signal and be on the jury. Jasmine and Diana were already getting ready to start their race. The flag began to lift halfway, and she focused on what she wanted to achieve.

Jasmine allowed Diana to come forward first. While Jasmine waited a few seconds after her friend drove in front of her, then he said, "It's such time."

She smiled when she saw the speed of her friend's motorbike. Jasmine deliberately lets her best friend feel a moment of victory because Diana will soon feel defeat.

During this time, Diana had never managed to beat Jasmine, but she was not going to give up this time. She will do everything in her power to win the race.

Jasmine started to increase the speed of her motorbike. It was enough for her to have Diana in front of her. She twists her body as she passes through the winding track so that the motorbike follows her every movement.

Now Jasmine is getting closer to Diana. She smirked, never in her mind that she would lose the race even with her best friend.

She remembered Caesar again, which made her unable to think clearly, why she made her parents sad. Just for the sake of a man who can casually walk with all kinds of women.

Jasmine slammed on the brakes with all her might when she saw a flash of shadow. Her motorbike fell, and her motorbike dragged her.

Diana saw Jasmine fall. The two stopped the motorbike and then turned around. She immediately got off and ran towards Jasmine, who was already sitting on the street of the racetrack.

"What's wrong with you? Why did it fall like this?!" Diana asked worriedly.

Diana could not understand why a Jasmine could fall from her motorbike. All she knew was that her best friend was already a professional in motorcycle racing.

Jasmine took off her helmet then she sighed. She just stood still after falling and felt something strange about herself. Why can't he focus on what he's doing right now? She tried to stand up but couldn't because her right leg hurt.

Diana immediately helped Jasmine to stand up and walked towards the audience seats. She also sat Jasmine in a chair, then she took her cellphone and called someone to pick her up to the motorcycle race area.

Several people immediately helped Jasmine and Diana to bring their motorbikes to the edge of the arena.

"You must be thinking about that bastard, right?!" said Diana, who was annoyed and worried

. "Never mind, don't scold me," said Jasmine while touching her aching leg.

"You might sprain your leg, what if you get seriously injured?" Diana said as she sat beside Jasmine.

A straightforward woman walked up to Jasmine. She handed her a bottle of drink, after which she left. Jasmine drank the water in the bottle, her legs hurting even more. It looks like she has to go to the doctor to have her leg checked.

Thirty minutes had passed, and she, too, had calmed down even though her right leg was still sore. A man with a cold face walked closer to Jasmine and Diana from a distance.

"What is it? Why did you tell me to come here?!" asked a man in a cold tone.

"Could you warm up a little bit to your sister in?" Diana asked back in an annoyed tone to the man who had just arrived, who was none other than Dean.

"You are annoying you know! Did you know I rushed here and left a very important meeting!" said Dean, who was also annoyed with his sister's attitude.

Jasmine was uncomfortable with Dean's cold attitude, and she felt there was no difference in how the man treated his sister or other people.

"What did you call him for?" Jasmine asked Diana.

"I don't know why all I can think of is his name!" continued Diana.

"You'd better go if you have important work to do. Maybe Diana has lost her mind by contacting a workaholic guy like you," Jasmine said to Dean in a cold tone too.

Dean didn't like the words that came out of Jasmine's lips. He was about to reply with hurtful words. Diana ended Dean, who already looked like he wanted to argue.

"Help me take Jasmine to the hospital. I will take the motorbike to the repair shop," Diana said as she ordered all of this to Dean.

"I don't need his help! I can go alone!" said Jasmine as she stood up even though her right leg was in great pain.

She passed Dean, her body became unbalanced, and she finally fell. Dean reflexively caught Jasmine's body. Without saying much, Dean picked up Jasmine and walked towards his car.

"Let me go!" Jasmine ordered.

"Shut up! You already know you can't walk, you still want to go down or do you want me to throw your heavy body!" said Dean.

"You …,"
