"what did you find?" Emily asked looking at the man seated opposite her.
"I am doing fine, thanks for asking," the man said. He felt that Emily was heartless. She only remember to call him when she needs help and once she arrives she wanted answers.
Emily bite on her lips, she first met him when she just left the country. He said he was a private detective and so they became friends. Emily was interested in investigating the Brown family so she was happy to become friends with him.
Later she noticed that he might want to be beyond friends so she deliberately decided to avoid him. There was no need to give him false hope. At that time, she was not thinking of relationship, besides she did not have such feelings towards him.
