"No," Lily rejected. It would be stupid for her to introduce Eric and her friend since she had decided to keep her relationship and plans secret because she was afaird of having the same outcome as Annabelle.
"Why? "Her friends were surprised at her reaction. After all, it was unexpected as Lily always seemed easy going.
Lily felt a bit embarrassed with how her friends looked at her. She awkwardly put her hair behind her ear while faking a smile. "Mr Brown is my boss. It's really not good to introduce him to a few friends. " Lily found an excuse for her rejection.
Kathy did not believe this excuse after all. She felt that there was a hidden meaning behind her behaviour.
"Then we would go shopping," Gina did not mind. She knew that the chances of getting Eric was small. After all, he had some dealings with the vice president's daughter.
