When Emily stepped into the private room, she was stunned. If she did not see Samuel holding out a chair for her, she would have thought she was led to the wrong room.
The room was decorated with flowers and heart-shaped balloons. Emily blinked before walking over to Samuel. She could feel her heart move, even if she had never thought that Samuel had special feelings for her. Seeing how he had arranged the dinner, she could already guess what he was thinking.
"Good evening," Emily smiled as she took her seat. She felt a bit conflicted at this point. Samuel took in her reaction. He was not very confident that she would accept his proposal.
"You look beautiful," Samuel said. He was happy to see that she made an effort to dress up. Samuel walked over to his seat and took a sip of his wine.
Emily picked up the menu by the table; she was feeling very nervous after all; she did not know that tonight was a romantic dinner.
