Eric looked at Emily, his kiss was a bit passionate, and her lips were still swollen. He could not tell if she was conscious or took a wild guess after he accused her of drugging him.
"I will investigate; if you are involved, then I would not let you go," Eric was furious at himself; he was indeed careless the previous day. Why else would he have fallen for such a cheap scheme? He did not trust anyone, so he accused her.
Emily did not bother to talk to him; after she freed herself, she left the room. She had forgiven him for taking her first kiss without permission because he was drugged, but how could he accuse her?
