Eric was watching Emily from his sit so, as soon as she got up to leave, Eric dropped his wine glass and went after her. He could not explain why but felt very happy when he was close to her.
They got to the car park a few seconds apart; Olivia had decided to leave her driver behind, hoping that driving around would help her clear her head. She wanted the scene of running into Eric out of her mind.
When Emily noticed that Eric was also in the car park, she wanted to avoid him. But Eric, of course, would not give her a chance.
"Miss White, you seem to be avoiding me," as he said this, he walked over to her side. Emily was unsure if it was a coincidence that their cars were packed beside each other.
"Of course not," Emily was forced to deny; since she accepted the wine, she could not continue to be cold. It might make him suspicious of her.
"Oh, I thought you did not accept my sincere apologies but took the wine in order not to be petty," Eric said.
