I just stared at him not knowing what to do or I would say. He then stood up and released an exasperated sigh. As he ran his hand on his raven locks
A habit he has that I noticed every time I'm with him. I stayed still without moving as I stared at the cliff. It was very high that my stomach clenched in fear
"Let's go back" he said with a straight face
We walked back to the rest house without uttering a single word. Apparently it happened the whole day. He didn't left the room. He had a somber aura surrounding him
I didn't dare to speak. I think that I had triggered something inside him that made him like this. I didn't want to bother him so, I acted as if I wasn't there. Which was easy for me but I think it was difficult for him
I stayed away from him. I didn't want to pressure him. I knew this would happen, I was never a person that could comfort someone
When we were in the cliff the face he made had pure terror as if he remembered something horrible in the past.
I didn't mean to frustrate him. I always gets on people nerves. I wasn't a sweet and caring wife material girl. He would have been happier if he only accepted getting married to my sweet sister
As the sky darkened and now filled with stars. I decided to go outside. Apparently the balcony has sofa. I had a hard time sleeping tonight
I hugged my knees while I gaze at the sky. The door opened revealing Dylan in his pajamas. Are eyes connected immediately and slowly avoided each other's gaze
I heard a few steps coming from him. He then knelt down in front of me. My eyes widen when I saw him. He was just an inch away from me
"I didn't mean to vent on you" he said while he placed his hand on mine. I immediately stiffen at his touch
I took my hand away from him and held it securely with my other hand
"I don't really care" I mumble for only the two of us could hear
"I don't want to hurt you" he said as he placed his head on the space beside me
I frowned at his behavior
"Your a cold person, that is what people say about you. A stone hearted boss that never bats an eye to anyone. Why are you acting like this so shamelessly in front of me" I said looking at his pathetic figure
"Your my wife" he said
"I don't want to get closer to you" I said then clenched my fist but, I felt a warm hand held it gently in their touch
I tried pushing him away but it didn't budge. He still rested his hand on mine
"Are you like this to all your lovers" I questioned
He lifted his face and stared at me. His face was filled with disappointment
"Why do you think so lowly of me" he asked, as his grip on my hand tighten
"I'm confirming if it's true?"
He didn't reply and simply bit the bottom of his lip. I sighed then left him on the balcony
"I don't want to be played by you"

As the morning rises I woke up in bed and was greeted by breakfast. My hair was messy and I looked shabby
I had a hard time to fall asleep. My Insomnia was getting worse by the time
"I forgot that I'm married now" I said while rubbing my eye
"Let's eat" he said with a light smile. I felt somehow awkward at his actions.
We ate with a build up tension between us or was it just me. Judging by Dylan's expression he seems to be in peace which made me feel guilty. It was extremely annoying
After we finished eating I placed the plates on the dishwasher. I could hear the machine doing its job cleaning
I took one of my books and started reading. I continued were I left before everything that happened.
I had a few minutes of peace after Dylan came out from the room. I glance back at his figure then continued on my book. Ignoring his presence. I could sense his footsteps coming towards me
"Do you want to go outside" he asked
"No" I quickly rejected his offer faster than a lightning strike
"Come on, could we just enjoy this place together! It's not like I'm asking you to go sky diving" he voiced out
I ponder if whether I should go or not. I remembered that he was the one who saved me from the cliff earlier but didn't I just told him that I didn't want to get closer.
Why is he still persistent would he stop bothering me if agreed? I simply sighed and placed the book on the table
His face immediately brighten. Knowing it was a yes
"Let's go then!" he rejoiced as he pulled my arm and went for a short walk. He was still holding my hand so, I forcefully remove it from his grip
I saw him frown after our arms separated
"Don't worry I won't run away just like last time" I assured him and crossed my arms while I gaze at the path we are walking on
We arrived at a lake. I was amazed at the amazing view of the lake. It was exceptionally clean. I stared at the water and I could clearly see my face
I was startled when there was a gigantic splash beside me. It was Dylan who immediately jumped into the water. I rolled my eyes at his childish antics
I quietly enjoyed the view
Then it suddenly hit me. That he hasn't been coming back from the water. I got a little nervous. Did he drown or hit his head rock-bottom
I tried waving one of my arm in the water. It wasn't really helping but I tried. Then suddenly something grabbed me and I fell into the water along with Dylan
I opened my eyes and saw him he had a bright smile. His hair was slightly upward because, we were underwater. It felt like I was floating but, it only lasted for few seconds when I couldn't breathe
I immediately went back up to the surface. I took a deep breath and started choking. A head suddenly popped beside me and immediately collided my fist at his face
"Are you really doing this on purpose!"
