The sun brightly shone through my window pane. It woke me up from my drowsy state. I suddenly felt incredibly heavy
I didn't know but I still get off from my bed. I went to the kitchen and took a glass of water. I chugged it down my throat
My throat was dry as the sand in the dessert. I felt a shiver down my spine getting sensitive from the cold. I sat down at the chair feeling heavier than usual. I massaged my temple
I went back to the bed and covered myself with the sheets. Feeling a little bit tired from the fatigue

Dylan who just woke up decided to make breakfast for them. He remembered he wanted to ask her what she would like. He somehow wanted to piss her off first thing in the morning
"Lex! Good morning" he beamed just to annoy her
But he noticed her under covers unmoving. He approached her coated finger in the blanket. He noticed that she was shivering in cold
He immediately went towards her and placed his hand on her forehead. Feeling as if he placed his hand on the stove
"Your Hot in the bad way!" he yelled in worry
He immediately bolted through the corridors to find thermometer. He immediately checked her temperature seeing it was high
"You have a fever" he frowned, it wasn't his first time seeing her in this situation but, she appears to be very delicate
As if she could break any minute. He held her slightly closer to him and fixed her hair. He went to the kitchen and started to make a soup suitable for someone who has fever
He came back with a tray in his hands as he stared at her weak figure. He placed the tray on the table
"Lex you need to eat food for you could drink your medicine" he said then tried to wake her up
She started coughing roughly
"Lex please listen me, I want you to get better please" he begged for the girl. Which was uncommon for his own nature
Lex stared at the man who gives her a worried glance. She snuggled closer to the blanket then silently trying to get on a sitting position
Dylan noticed it and immediately helped her. He placed a pillow on her back. Now that he could properly see her. She was completely pale
"You really need to eat breakfast" he said in very anxious tone
She just stared at him weakly. She slowly took the spoon but it fell on the floor with clatter. Dylan sighed then took the spoon he went to the kitchen and took a new one
He took the bowl of soup in his hands. He heard her groaning irritated at his mere actions. There was a small chuckle that
"Well too bad darling, you have to stick with me. You couldn't even lift your spoon so, your husband would feed you" he said softly with a smile
"Your making me puke in cringe" she muttered under her breath but was still audible for him to hear
"That's what I'm aiming for so, now say Aaaaaaaaahhh" he said and took scoop of the food and placed in front of her mouth
She used her remaining strength to roll her eyes but, she still opened her mouth as the hot soup entered her mouth. It tasted bland or it was the cause of her fever. She didn't care at all she wanted to get better
"It wasn't that bad right?" he spoke as if he was speaking to a child
"Stop that" she spoke then glared steak knives at him. He had an awkward smile then spoke trying to sound innocent
"Stop what"
"I'm not a kid. Don't speak to me as if I'm a vexing child" I stated with a groggy tone
"Then stop acting like it. You troublesome woman" he said then teasingly pinched my nose with a tissue
"I'm not troublesome your simply annoying" I said while crossing my arms
"I already know that reason" he said then gave me mouthful of food which caused me to burn my tongue
"Ugh! My tongue"
"Stop being dramatic how can you have the strength to complain in this condition" he said completely annoyed at the woman in front of him
"I can eat on my own" I spoke then tried to reach the spoon but Dylan quickly took it in his arms
"No you can't" he said and started to feed me
I stubbornly turned my head to the side refusing to eat the food
"I feel like I would have difficulty of feeding our own child if they get your personality" he said catching me off guard. My face immediately turned flush red in embarrassment
"Eh?! What does that sup-" I was interrupted when he shove the spoonful of soup in my mouth
"It means when we get children they might probably act like you since they are your mother" my jaw dropped at his boldness
He then scooped food and place it on my mouth
"Stop that it's getting annoying" I said with flushed face
"Then open your mouth stop being stubborn and eat your food for you can drink your medicine. Your fever would definitely go down"
"Hmpph"

I couldn't stand it anymore. It was so cold I kept shivering under my sheets. As I cough out my sob
Ever since I was a child my only flaw was I easily get sick. I spent most of my time in the hospital. I even made friends with doctors and nurses there.
I was always brought there by my parents they never visited me though. This was the first time that someone took care of me and didn't left me in a plain white hospital
Dylan arrived with a small cloth and placed it on my forehead. He then gently dabbed it across my face.
"It was your fault that I got sick" I muttered
Dylan bit his lip. He knew it was his fault for getting her sick. He never expected her to get sick so easily
"I'm sorry" he apologized again
The stories about his personality was undeniably scary but, the ruthless president of the Evergreen Enterprises was apologizing to the likes of me? It was surprising if you ask me
His head hung low in guilt. He looks more of a puppy than a human. He reminds me of my former dog. I somehow missed my dog that I unintentionally patted the top of Dylan's head
"Eh?"
