Juliet's Diary

   Dad's words are still playing in my head. I do feel guilty for raising my voice in front of Mom. This weekend, I saw Mom helping one of our housekeepers do the gardening. Next to our house, there is a large garden filled with Mom's favorite plants and flowers. I just looked at her from behind the bedroom window. I took a deep breath.

Maybe, I should buy her something.

    I rushed out of the room and approached Romeo's room. I knocked on his door several times rather loudly. Just a few knocks, the door was opened by Romeo who hissed in annoyance.

    "Geez, don't knock loudly!" he shouted.

    "Come with me to the mall. You don't have rehearsals or concerts scheduled, do you?"

Romeo looked at me for a long time, like he was thinking. "Oh, wow? It's so rare. You have no friends to invite? You always make excuses if I asked you to come with me. You always say, 'Oh, I'm not a kid anymore'."
