Mandy's Diary Today
As promised, he drove me home in his car when the snow wasn't as heavy as the previous days. He helped me open the car door. I got out of the car carefully, balancing my body because the dizziness in my head was getting worse. Before leaving Marina's, my head was spinning wildly. I looked up at the evening clouds shrouded in misty streaks. No stars are visible. I know I'm late coming home. That's because the highway on Birmingham Street was piled up with snow—causing traffic jams.
At the door, I paused to thank him.
"Thanks. And… please, keep what I told you a secret."
"I have your secret."
