Candice Diary at Senior
"I want to say thank you to my friends who support me…" I groaned in frustration when I heard Dad's voice from downstairs. "I'm coming!" I put the speech I had scribbled onto the study table, then jogged out of the room, down the stairs, and into the living room where Trevor was waiting.
Seeing my appearance, Trevor spontaneously stood up and moved awkwardly. I took a deep breath and walked over to him.
"Why did you come here?" I asked, crossing my arms across my chest.
"I want to take you for a walk."
One of my eyebrows raised.
"For the last time, Candice," he continued, spontaneously making me change my expression. "I will continue my studies in England. We'll probably never see each other again while I'm studying there."
