Candice's Diary Today
I looked at myself in the mirror while wearing earrings in my ears. While waiting for Nik who is still busying himself in the bathroom, I can spend time dressing up and looking beautiful for tonight's event. All employees who work at Ian's place are required to come. For Nik, don't ask. He is a member of the British royal family, automatically getting the right to attend such important events. And, well, I still can't believe that my high school friend who rarely shows up and prefers to hang out with his thick books is now inviting me to his newest software launch.
"Ready?" Nik appeared suddenly while buttoning his shirt sleeve.
I looked at him in the mirror, seeing how handsome my prince was. Every time I see British Nik's face, my legs feel like they're being melted by embers.
