Mandy's Diary Today
For half a full day I waited for Candice to wake up at her ward door. Inside, Nik was sitting next to Candice's bed, holding her hand tightly and sleeping with her head down beside Candice's hand. Guilt runs with my blood. I seem to be fully involved in the accident incident this morning. Because of the misunderstanding, Candice is lying in the hospital. The doctor said several parts of her body had bruises and internal injuries. I tapped my fingers on my thighs waiting for her to come to her senses. I promise not to leave her because all this happened because of my fault.
On the other side, I heard a low, familiar voice. I looked up. A pair of caramel eyes immediately met my eyes. Her hand stroked my shoulder gently. A second later, Justin sat next to me as she grabbed my palm which I held in my lap.
