Mandy's Diary at Senior Grade
Guess what day it is? Haha, Friday. As usual, right? For me, today is like an ordinary day. Nothing special. Except when I peeked from under the covers, the calendar on the nightstand whose numbers were plastered so large in front of my eyes. Number 13. The number that people think is unlucky. And coincidentally I was born on the 13th of this month, today. That means it's my birthday.
Pinch me and tell me it's my birthday. My birthday! It's not interesting. But when I remember that now my life has changed a little from ashes to a princess in an imaginary land, I get excited to welcome my morning.
Oh, oh, oh! Don't forget the part where Mom would kiss me on the cheek, surprise me with a cake and sing with Dad, Steve, and Candice. I would cry if they still carried out the tradition, even though I was now eighteen years old. Not very mature, right? I'm still my Mom's Little Mandy.
