"Thank you again. You can look after my children in this house." Aunt Mary touched my cheeks, then pressed her lips to mine in a kiss of thanks—and farewell.

"Mandy the Cow is leaving?" Brenda asked quietly. But not low enough for my hearing.
"Mandy has to go. She has a lot of work to do besides taking care of you guys here." Aunt Mary pinched Brenda's nose until it turned red. "Hopefully they don't bother you." Aunt Mary's gaze shifted towards me.
Well, to be honest, I'm having a lot of trouble here. A smile spreads from my lips in response to his words. "I'm fine. They're not, hmm, too naughty."
