Justin's Diary Today
From behind the walls of the nursery, I watched Mandy pacing busy putting them to sleep. Seeing her being dizzy like that, for some reason I wanted to laugh. But on the other hand, I feel sorry for her face which looks so tired. All day she was busy accompanying the foster children of Aunt Mary. Feeding Theola food, bathing fussy Mickey and chasing those who don't want to sleep.
Mandy breathed a sigh of relief as Aunt Mary's children settled in their beds, huddled under the covers. Her palm was wiping the sweat off her temples while her other hand was against her waist. Stepping in, I wrapped my arms around her waist making her yelp in surprise and immediately turned back to greet me with a big smile on her lips.
"Busy night, Ma'am?" I whispered beside her ear.
"I'm so tired."
"Sorry for that, Ma'am." I kissed her cheek deeply. "It's our time."
