[Mandy's Diary at Senior Grade]
Even though all the students at Jordan High School knew I wasn't the owner of the drugs in the locker, some of them still couldn't shake off the annoying stares I waltzed past those pairs of eyes. I let them look at me like that, I didn't care.
Along with Candice, I walked while talking around discussing jokes in Trigonometry class earlier. We stopped when we saw Trevor walking timidly toward us with a backpack slung over one shoulder. Instantly, Candice put on a defensive stance. Her lips pursed down looking disapproving of Trevor's presence in front of us.
"What do you want?" she panted sharply.
Trevor rubbed the back of his hand with his palm, afraid to return Candice's fierce glare. I nudge Candice's shoulder warning her not to be this curt at Trevor. After all, he deserved a chance to speak.
Come to think of it, I was really good.
