Chapter 2 - They got what they deserved

The Rogue's body tremble, and he didn't know what to do. A mountain of a man was coming for him, and he had now a sword. He saw how both of his friends got beaten, and that was Joshua without a weapon.

"This is a misunderstanding. Please, spare me. I'll let the lady go and we can talk, all right?" the man begged for his life, but Joshua didn't care.

"Don't worry. I'll not kill you, but it will be worse than death." Joshua didn't kill any of them actually. He was in that new unknown world for less than a day, he wouldn't kill anyone out of the blue. Maybe these three scumbags had a powerful backing and killing them would bring trouble to Joshua. But still, he gave them a good beating and would make sure to put these three behind bars.

Just like before, Joshua was in front of the man in a couple of seconds. He didn't slash with his giant sword, or else the man would die without suffering. The first thing Joshua did was go give the man 2 slaps, just like he did with the lady.

The problem was that Joshua's slaps were far different, as 6 teeth fell to the ground. Blood streamed down from the man's nose, and his teeth less face almost made Joshua laugh.

Joshua carved his sword into the ground, and punched the Rogue multiple times, until the point where even his mom wouldn't recognize him.

'I think this is enough. I'm proud of my work, it's pure art.' Joshua thought.

After his rage calmed down, a notification appeared in front of his eyes.

[Blazing Rage deactivated.]

[All attributes by half for 12 hours.]

[As your Blazing Rage levels up, your weakened state will diminish its time, and you'll get even stronger.]

'So there's a side effect. Well, for an ability this strong it's understandable. At least now I know this thing can level up. Perhaps my attributes will multiple by 4, or even 5.' Joshua got excited just thinking about that possibility.

Anyway, now it was time to untie the lady. She was wearing a blindfold the entire time, but she heard the bandits call Joshua a mountain. But after her eyes could see again, she saw a thin handsome man that didn't look similar to what she heard.

'Perhaps they were just scared,' she thought.

"Hello lady. I'm Joshua, and you're safe now."

"Thank you, thank you," she grabbed his hands, truly grateful for what he had done.

"I'm Aurora, nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too," Joshua said, smiling.

Joshua decided to use the spare ropes they had, and tie the trio. Aurora said that there was a retired military in her village. She suggested bringing the bandits to him, and Joshua agreed to that.

They were also planning on using a carriage to transport Aurora to another city, so Joshua used to transport them to the village. That carriage helped a lot, as Joshua didn't think he would be able to carry that giant sword on his back walking all that way, as his attributes were half as to what they used to be.

Joshua and Aurora talked a lot on the way, and he was amazed by how beautiful she was. Aurora had silver hair and deep blue eyes. Her face was pretty, well proportioned, and her body was also something extraordinary. Her boobs were just the perfect size, and her curves would make anyone go crazy.

The most incredible thing about her was her personality. She was funny, brave, and for what she told Joshua, a truly hardworking woman, living in a remote village that made everything difficult. She talked a lot about her life, as she didn't think Joshua would do any harm to her. In fact, she also told him a secret.

"I actually awakened my mana not long ago, and I'll be going to the capital to learn magic." She said.

Aurora was also level 1, just like Joshua, but she awakened her mana, and that meant she could learn a class, and she had chosen a magical related class, that's the reason she would go to the capital because that's where the best magic academy is.

"That's awesome, though I'll miss you if you go there."

"Then come with me. You dealt with these bandits being level 1 and without a class, which is something I have never heard of. And, I'll not be leaving so soon, so you can take your time and decide if you want." Aurora smiled at him. She liked Joshua. For her, he was young, handsome, and had a kind heart, which was something attractive for her.

"I'll think about that," Joshua smiled back.

'Going to the capital isn't a bad idea, but I need to get stronger first, I'm sure that place will be dangerous.'

Two hours passed since they entered the carriage, and the village could now be seen. It was small, as expected. The people wore simple clothing and were curious as soon as a carriage entered their village. It was something rare. Only the local merchant and the village's chief had the money to buy a carriage.

Speaking of the village's chief, he showed up as soon as they entered the village. He was that retired military Aurora talked about, and when he saw these three bandits beating up, almost dead, he frowned.

'No way that level 1 guy caused this. Hmm, strange.' He thought.

Joshua saw him staring at them, and was scared.

[Knight]

[Level: ???]

'Why can't I see his level? Is it because he's too strong? Man, I'll make this retired old man train me.'
