Joshua's mouth gaped as he noticed how many health points he had. Of course, the 5 endurance he gained as a bonus would provide him health, but it seemed that the class itself had more health points than regular Knights.
He had now only one plan in mind, and that was to level up. The trip to the capital that Aurora suggested, he would accept. He wasn't as ambitious to enter some sort of academy, as for him, that would take away his freedom. Richard told him that with his talent he should join the Royal Knight's Academy, but that would bond him, and he would have to fight in wars and follow their rules, strictly. Joshua had two reasons to go to the capital. First, he wanted to explore more of this world and get to know more things. Second, he wanted to make sure Aurora was safe.
The only method he knew that would guarantee their safety was to get stronger, and for that, he needed to get experience points. It was a good thing that the nameless village he was living in didn't have many strong beasts. With his current power, facing strong beasts would only cause his premature death. Joshua was indeed way more powerful than most people of his level, hell he could even kill beasts 10 levels ahead of him if he could use all of his Divine skills, but what if an even stronger beast appeared? He would simply cry and beg for his life.
Richard had been kind enough to explain a lot of things to him and teach him a lot of things as well. The book he lend to Joshua, the one that contained information about a lot of species of beasts, would prove to be quite valuable for him.
Joshua wandered through the forest carrying his greatsword, and a backpack filled with supplies. His plan was to not come back to his house or the village before he reached at least level 5. Hiding behind bushes, and avoiding stomping on kindles to make sure none roaming beast could hear him, he continued smoothly.
'Hum, what's this? A goblin near the village? I thought there weren't globins in this region.' From what he had read in the books, goblins weren't supposed to be there. Joshua was in the north part of the country, and that's why he knew they shouldn't be there.
It wasn't something he would let go of, maybe there was more to it. For that reason, Joshua tracked the goblin to whatever place he headed. Goblins weren't strong individually, but their numbers pose a great threat to anyone. Joshua wasn't just friends with Richard and Aurora, everyone back in the village started to accept his presence, and treat him like one of their own. He couldn't let a possible danger near this place that had been so warm to him.
The sun was still shining brightly, which was of great help, as Joshua could track the goblin more easily. Strange sounds of birds and other unknown creatures echoed through the forest, which made Joshua shiver. He was still getting used to living in this mystical world. Few monsters in this remote place would win a one versus one against him, but the wilderness didn't know about a fair fight. One could even be poisoned by a low-level monster and still die.
A cave entered Joshua's sight. He had followed the goblins' tracks for about one hour, finally reaching his destination. Well, there was a small problem. As soon as Joshua got near the cave, multiple sounds could be heard within the cave, and that could only mean one thing.
'There are a lot of goblins in that cave.' He wasn't scared to face them, but he was still level one, incapable of killing thousands of goblins. After pondering for some time, a plan emerged inside his head.
The tracks of that goblin only meant one thing, they needed to leave the cave eventually. If a tribe of goblins lived inside that cave, they would need a source of food, which was mainly hunting. Joshua was sure that a hunting party of goblins would go out and bring food for the tribe, and when that happened he would strike.
It was already getting dark when the goblins finally decided to go out and hunt. Joshua had already eaten and drink some of his supplies, and he wondered where would he sleep now that was already night.
'These bastards took so long,' he watched as a group of 5 goblins left the cave. Goblins could see in the dark. Joshua read that in one of the books. He was at a complete disadvantage as he couldn't. For him, that didn't matter. Even if they could see his greatsword in the dark, they couldn't stop it.
[Goblin Warrior]
[Level: 2]
[Health Points: 110/110]
Their health points were low. A warrior only had 110, which meant that Joshua could kill them in two hits. Well, his damage was already good before, but now with all of his attributes higher than before coupled with his new abilities, killing these goblins would be a piece of cake.
Stealthily following behind, making sure that no one noticed him. Joshua wanted for them to enter a fight far from the cave. That way none of the goblins could scream for help. Joshua stalked his prey with vicious eyes, and after the goblins started a fight with some boars, it was finally time to strike.
Two of the five goblins were archers, and they had even lower health points. Using their formation, they managed to kill 2 boars with ease and were now getting their prize. Joshua took the opportunity as the goblins' attention wasn't in their surroundings, and dashed towards the two archers.
With 9 points of strength, Joshua could swing his sword easily, and even though the sword weighted a lot, it seemed light as a feather in his hands. He slashed his sword horizontally, hitting the two archers at the same time.
[Sneak Attack, bonus damage applied]
[-83]
[-83]
Each one of the archers took 83 damage, which meant they died in one hit. A greatsword was focused on pure damage, as its speed was not comparable to any other type of weapon. Joshua's strength was already at 9, plus the 10% bonus damage from his passive, and the sneak attack he didn't even know about, all of that turned into the massive damage he saw.

The goblins were cut in half, and blood was everywhere. It was truly a disgusting scene, and Joshua hold to not throw up in that situation.
'Well, I'm still getting used to this situation. The last time I fought a beast, it wasn't this bloody.'
The remaining goblins were scared. They hadn't noticed him, and now two of their kind were already dead. But, they couldn't run away and let that go. The trio had their weapons aimed high, looking fiercely towards Joshua.
