The priestess preformed a ritual and blessed the the crown prince and destined queen.
She danced round them seven times and stopped.
"The marriage is complete." she said.
The people all clapped and one by one, they came to congratulate the new married couples. Satiah looked at the crown prince who was still not moving and wondered if he was alive. Even when the people came forward to congratulate them, he said nothing neither did he moved a finger. She wondered if he was a status that was brought by the pharaoh to be in place of the crown prince, but that wouldn't be possible as his hand wouldn't be so soft like human hands and cold like ice.
The door was opened with a loud thud forcing everyone to turn their attention towards it.
Queen Baketmut stood up in shock when she saw the face of the one who had opened it. Everyone were shocked to see the man by the door as they all opened their mouth wide, while some looked at the groom still seating comfortably.
Satiah was confused at what was happening as everyone looked shocked staring at the handsome man by the door who was panting loudly and held his sword with his hand. His curly jet black hair reached his neck length and his blue eyes staring menacingly at the groom. The hall was in chaos as everyone kept asking questions, which Satiah couldn't understand why. They were all staring at the man at the door and the groom beside her. Why is everyone shocked? She wanted to asked but the voice of the man at the door made her swallow back her words.
"The one as the groom took my place. He is an imposter." he said.
Satiah swallowed hard at the hearing of that. She looked at the man beside and stood up. What is going on? she wanted to scream but lost her voice. What did the man say? How possible is that?
"Prince Karim explain all this, why are you not seating as the groom but someone else?" the pharaoh was the first to ask.
"I woke up and found myself by the river bank not remembering a thing. This imposter tried to kill me." he said pointing his sword towards the groom.
Satiah took a step back as she realized what happened. The man she married isn't the crown prince. He is an imposter.....
"Reveal yourself....." the pharaoh yelled, fuming in anger. Everyone turned their attention to the groom.
The imposter, for the first time moved his hand. He raised his head and laughed sardonically. Slowly he stood up and removed his mask revealing his face to everyone. The whole hall went silent as they stared at the man who was standing before them with lopsided smile. Everyone had their eyes or mouths widened as no word came out from any of them.
Queen Baketmut moved back as her world came crashing right in front of her eyes. Not the one standing there, it can't be him. Not him. Why him? She moved back again and almost fell but was helped by her fourth son, Prince khepri.
The pharaoh stared at the man in total shock. How is this possible?
The man who replaced the groom was a dashing young man, but dashing in an evil sense. If the crown prince have the face of an angel, then this one has the face of a beautiful angel who had the aura of a demon. Most of the young ladies weren't shocked because of the imposter taking the place of the crown prince, but were shocked by his handsome face.
The man sat down and crossed his leg. "I did cause a chaos at my brother's wedding, didn't I?" he covered his mouth and laughed, "Oops.... It's my wedding not his." he said childishly. He waved his hand and sighed, "Oh well, I need to do a proper introduction as many of you don't know me.... I am prince Koshari, the hidden fourth son of the pharaoh. So bad of him right?" he asked in a tiny voice shaking his head.
The crown prince Karim, tightened his hold on his sword as his vein throbbed in his neck, fuming in anger and the urge to kill Koshari grew in him.
"Koshariiiiiiii" he shout out loud causing everyone to move away to a safer place in fright.
The playful grin on Koshari's face was replaced by a menacing look in a second, as the fourth prince looked at Karim. Satiah who was still standing by his side was pushed away by Aaru, to avoid getting hit by the clash about to happen between the two prince.
Karim raised his sword and with a loud shout charged towards Koshari.
