Nada looked at Alex who was currently trying to remove the mirror that seemed to be stuck on the wall as if it couldn't be moved.
"This is why the mirror can't be moved, Nada?" asked Alex with a small chuckle, he ruffled his hair roughly, he also felt quite frustrated with what was in front of him right now.
Nada that even heard Alex's complaint at this moment started to shrug, a sign that she didn't know it either. "I don't know, Alex. Let alone intending to move the mirror, I don't even dare to approach it."
Nada remembers well when the lights in her house went out at that time, she groped around for things around her and what she got was the touch of someone's skin which was very cold and a rather foul smell entered her sense of smell.
"In this case, is it true that the mirror is immortal?"
Alex even thought about it a few times to find out what was wrong with the mirror in front of him.
Tone doesn't understand. He was even waiting for the next page of the book he found in the school library. No new Pages, a sign that life around them is still safe. The sheet was still blank, with no sign of threat.
Alex sighed. He grabbed the water bottle lying on the table. "Are they in front of me, Nada?" he asked, he sipped the drink until it ran down his throat, making a refreshing feeling present.
While with Alex, Nada felt safe even though her heart was filled with doubts. She who had pretended to be busy staring at her cellphone screen now decided to look at the man who was still faithfully standing right in front of the mirror.
'If I was in Alex's position, I probably wouldn't have been saved.' Inner tone, full of hope.
Nada winked. "Huh, is that you?"
Alex raised his eyebrows, somehow he felt Nada was talking to the mirror? Not with him. Soon, he was a man with a fairly high level of sensitivity, so he chose to move his body to the side so that the woman could see in the mirror more freely.
What Nada saw was not necessarily seen by Alex. So now she could see the woman who first asked for her help.
'Why does she look beautiful? Wasn't yesterday she… the food of a monstrous creature?'
"What did you see? Tell me, Nada," said Alex, he was curious. Closing the bottle, then walked towards Nada and decided to sit next to the girl.
Nada shook her head, then looked at Alex. "She is the same woman who always watches me with the creature in the mirror."
"What does it look like?"
"Beautiful, dressed like a Dutch girl her age."
"Could she be the first victim?"
Don't know, Nada shrugged. "How did all this happen? I mean… why is this only in the house I live in? Is this house cursed?"
"I told you that until now, all this is still a mystery that doesn't seem to have an answer, Nada," Alex replied, he chose to lean his body against the wall.
The sound of rain and lightning flashed in the background at this time. Sounds like serenity.
"Perhaps someone did it on purpose? I mean... having a relationship with those creatures and seeking sacrifice for something we don't understand." Nada's voice with eyes that look empty, but it turns out that there are many unanswered thoughts in her head, maybe not yet.
Alex closed his eyes for a moment, wanting to think clearly. After a few seconds…
"Ah wait a minute, I'll leave you alone here." Suddenly he got up from his seat.
A surprised tone, then raised her head to look at Alex. "Huh? What's wrong with you?" She asked, wondering what the man would do.
Alex who heard Nada's question just smiled. "I have a great idea, but first I can use your toilet, okay?"
Before Nada could stop Alex who was about to leave her here alone, it turned out that the man had already entered the bathroom.
From there if the current atmosphere starts to feel bad. Fortunately, the distance from the mirror which is the creature's main nest is quite far from where she sits, but it still doesn't eliminate the worry that currently surrounds the heart.
"Stay here!" shouted Nada, but kept her voice as low as possible so that Bela wouldn't suspect her.
Too late, Alex went to the bathroom and left nothing but to rely on himself to figure out what the boy had planned.
"I told you not to leave me here alone, stupid Alex."
Nada turned her head, looked at the window which currently showed that the weather was still raining heavily. She can't go outside the balcony so that the tense air does not seem to eat her body.
"Nada…."
That voice.
A voice that sounded hoarse, a call in a soft voice. No, it's not a good creature, quite the opposite.
"No, I won't turn to you," replied Nada.
As the target of the creature in the mirror, the target could indeed hear and even talk to 'them'.
"Admit that you will stay here forever because there will be many things that will make you give up."
"Don't hurt me, keep your rotten arrows away from me."
As far as Nada remembers. 'They' already can injure her with arrows. However, for some reason 'they' also launched arrows like it was just a bluff. Not really to the point of hurting, or killing her, maybe just for the time being and I don't know what will happen in the future.
"Look at me, Nada."
"No! Heartless devil, please stop bothering me!"
Nada brought her body further into the corner of the room, she was sure her back was too close to the wall. However, she still felt that there was space behind her back.
"Nada... look at me."
"NO, I TOLD YOU DON'T BOUGHT ME AGAIN, UGLY DEVIL!"
Nada's scream echoed in every corner of the room, reflexively she couldn't hold back the fear that now enveloped her heart.
Suddenly …
knock
knock
knock
"NADA!"
Yes, it was her stepmother's voice.
Nada cursed herself for losing control. And yes, she cursed 'them' harshly, muttering, saying a lot of sentences that were very inappropriate to say.
Looking in the mirror, the hideous figure she had spoken to earlier had disappeared. "Damn it."
Now, she must face her stepmother who is scarier than anything.
Brack! (the sound of the door opening violently so that it hits the wall)
Now, Bela has entered Nada's room with her eyes tracing her stepson.
"Okay, here we go again."
