Chereads / Lost Soul : Demon Hunt (About The Mirror) / Chapter 3 - Ghost Mirror Apparition

Chapter 3 - Ghost Mirror Apparition

The room is black and white, dominant in solid black, on the other hand, looks very elegant. A woman is still curled up in a blanket, very lazy to start her activities. Coupled with the unfavorable weather with the sky so dark and looking overcast, it was a sign that it would rain soon, presenting a very comfortable air to sleep in for a long time. Very very comfortable.

Lightning strikes began to ring in her ears, causing her to sink deeper into the blankets. 'Ah weather like this better skip class and spend more time in bed,' she thought.

Indeed, the only pleasure is being in bed in the rain, curled up in a blanket, and enjoying the dream.

"NADAAAA! WAKE UP, GIRL!"

The tone cursed harshly when she heard a scream that boomed until it was heard in the sense of hearing. Looks like her day is going to be bad knowing she has an abusive stepmother, never giving her the love she deserves, like a child who needs affection. It was better for her to be in a dark room and accompanied by a few spirits than to be in this damn life.

Annoying.

"YES, MOTHER! WAIT A MINUTE."

Roughly, Nada threw the blanket that wrapped her body so that it was scattered on the floor. Gosh, she doesn't care. Finally, decided to go to the bathroom, and started washing the body. After finishing cleaning, she prefers to wear casual clothes, a t-shirt with black long jeans as her subordinates.

Throwing a towel into one of the available hangers, she sighed when she saw the pile of dirty clothes in the basket-like it was about to explode. "It seems lazy to wash clothes, but if you don't wash your clothes, they pile up so that they can become nests for cockroaches and other insects."

She turned her gaze to look at the large mirror in the bathroom and started to brush her wet hair after shampooing. Her mouth hummed sweetly singing a song that was popular this year, she memorized it so that she enjoyed every verse of the song that came out of her mouth.

"Nada...."

Nada rolled her eyes when she heard the call, it was her mother's voice who kept nagging while calling her name. "I told you I'd come to you, Mom, don't keep calling my name." reply to answer a call.

Her eyes narrowed as if in a mirror reflection there were black spots, like fog.

But she doesn't care, maybe she's still imagining. Because hey, she just woke up about 10 minutes ago without stretching her body muscles first.

Finally, Nada left the bathroom but found no one there. Where's her mother? Didn't someone call her name? She had time to answer why, didn't she?

The cold air made the atmosphere even tenser, whether this was just a feeling or indeed the room now looked spooky like this, she couldn't remember. The lightning strikes grew louder, and the lights in the room dimmed. Ah, surely her mother forgot to pay the electricity bill this month.

Her small family is very well off, but her stepmother is very stingy with spending money just to pay for electricity. Yes, the mother will pay for it, but it's always late every month from the date that has been determined.

Armed with the memory of where the door to her room was, she began to slowly walk vines by touching the wall or any object within her reach. She snorted when she heard the window shut loudly, it must be the wind. She wasn't a paranoid woman who would scream in terror when something like this happened. Calmly, she grabbed the doorknob. But it feels a bit different. Cold, wet, and damp.

Nada raised an eyebrow. What is he holding?

As Nada recalled, she had never owned an object that possessed these characteristics. Then, what is this in her hand?

Her nose started to sniff something foul-smelling. Did her neighbor's cat die in her yard? Or is this smell coming from the pile of dirty clothes behind the shower cubicle? Oh or, this stench is the smell of death from her mother's cooking who never intended to cook so that it always produces food with a bad taste?

"Nada..."

For the second time, a call from a mysterious person entered the senses of hearing. Trying to stay calm, Nada sighed. "Must be my neighbor, Roni. He likes to call my name!" She said, still thinking positive, though her heart was predictably racing.

However, considering the atmosphere outside the house, it was very clear that it was raining heavily accompanied by lightning that started to strike, Roni's screams couldn't call her name clearly to her room. Impossible. It must have been muffled by the sound of the thundering rain.

Nada continued on her way —trying to ignore something she was holding earlier—, the mirror by her bed reflecting the light from her nightlight. There, a woman wearing a red ball gown was seen waving at her. Her smile was so wide it ripped open her earlobe, revealing a row of bloodstained teeth. Her clothes were also ripped here and there, revealing parts of her body that shouldn't be exposed. Her hair was a mess, her eyes were staring at her meaningfully, and she was muttering. "I need a friend here."

Nada blinked, surprised by what she saw. Scared, she still chose not to lose consciousness.

"NADA! DON'T YOU HEAR ME SCREAMING AT YOU?!"

In an instant, the lights in Nada's room returned to normal, as if nothing had happened. The woman who was visible with a very scary appearance in the mirror had disappeared because her mother had now entered her room with a scary face.

Nada didn't understand in a situation like this, and did she need to thank or curse because her mother was currently holding the rattan?

"WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! WAITING FOR ME TO BACK YOUR BODY WITH THE RATTAN? YOU JUST GO TO CAMPUS BECAUSE OF A POWER."

Nada smiled stiffly, honestly, she was afraid of it. It was the first time since She moved into this house and immediately got the first impression. And for the first time too, she was probably very grateful to her stepmother, Bela.

In the vision, of course, a mirror that looks calm has the function of reflecting objects or living things that are affordable in real life. But if you go in and think more deeply about the fantasy world that is in your brain, there are bound to be questions like 'What's in there? Is there any other life that cannot be seen with the naked eye? Is glass an object that looks safe, as if there is no violence or evil behind it?

And please, after thinking like that, don't be curious. Because curiosity will drag you further and further expand your mind, the portal of a scary figure waiting for you behind the glass opens because an unconscious fear haunts your soul.

Remember, something is waiting for you.
