Chapter 4 - She, Asks for Friendship

Nada wore a raincoat as well as an umbrella as the second anticipation if she was still wet by the raincoat. With unsteady steps, she entered the campus with a sour face. Annoyed with Bela, her stepmother tells her to stay in school —because there's no skipping class other than illness or family trips— and she has to go through the rain like this. An advantage for her because her house is not too far from campus.

She wasn't the popular girl on campus, like most women who had dozens of friends or sometimes even someone from one school knew who she was. As an ecosystem, it's just grass if it can be compared. Some people don't like her because of all the girls in college, Varo likes her more.

Varo has a handsome face, is a basketball core player, and of course famous. And yes if Nada can explain, she's just a lucky woman who can find Varo. No, this is not a love story like the one in an ordinary novel that ends sadly and is full of sad drama due to the difference in degrees between the two.

Varo loves her very sincerely, and their relationship will last a year. You need to know that the journey of one year is not an easy thing. Do you know what it's like to be 'going out with a famous guy and have a lot of female fans? 'Ah, I guess you don't have to imagine how tortured I was in college' said a deep tone.

Nada stepped into the toilet to take off her wet raincoat because it was her body armor. Luckily, she came an hour earlier than her class today so she could still get ready before going to class.

She looked at the long mirror that was installed in the women's toilet which she now occupied. Some of the girls in the toilet did the same with her, taking off their raincoats and changing sandals with more fashionable footwear, and some even changed clothes because they were wet from top to bottom.

"Ah, my appearance looks bad." Said a woman who was busy combing her wavy hair. Looks like the heavy rain this morning made her hair tangled, I don't know. But luckily she didn't get wet.

Nada goes into one of the toilet cubicles to urinate. She felt very tired remembering her new life since Bela came and won the heart of her father, who had been left with her late mother for five years. The incident was very unlucky, her mother was hit by a car and her body was dragged several meters because one of her clothes got caught in someone else's car. In short, her mother was the victim of a hit and run of someone who was not responsible.

No, there is no need to explain how sad Nada is left by her mother. Cry? She had cried, of course. But right now, letting go and accepting reality was the best thing that had ever been her decision.

"My red dress is worn out, and I want to replace it with a new one."

Tone raised an eyebrow. Gown? What kind of stupid girl goes to college wearing such revealing clothes on a rainy day? Doesn't that sound reporting? Ah but never mind, she doesn't have to care about what someone does.

"I started to lose my hands, they ate it well."

The tone fell silent from her position, instead, she listened intently, listening very seriously to what someone had to say. To be honest, she was curious.

"I need a friend."

"Or anyone who can accompany me."

"They were… Hungry, and I thought I wasn't enough to feed them. And I became a bone of contention in this gloomy place."

She frowned when she heard those words, but she didn't want to bother. Nada pushed the button to flush the toilet, she put her pants back on and walked out.

"Huft, my appearance has improved."

Nada breathed a sigh of relief seeing one of the students earlier, it turned out that the voices were just an illusion. Maybe she was hallucinating because she was shocked by what had happened in her room a few minutes ago.

She took her bag and tucked her raincoat and umbrella into the plastic bag she was carrying, not caring if it got wet from the rain. Before that, she looked in the mirror. And.

"I'm waiting for you."

A spooky man looks at her in the mirror. Her teeth had turned into a row of extremely pointed and sharp teeth. The center of her head opened revealing her brain that was no longer throbbing, it looked like the man's head was on the ax before. Bringing the devil's fork and starting to smile sinisterly at her.

Nada swallowed hard and glanced at the women who had been busy with appearances, didn't they see what she just saw? Did the women also not hear? Hey, is he the only one who can feel all that?

"Of course, Jeremy would like me."

Ah, why don't women look at the figure in the mirror? Even though they were the ones who looked in the mirror the longest since Nada's arrival, nothing happened.

She glanced at the mirror timidly again, having immediately broken eye contact with the figure. But there's nothing there. She breathed a sigh of relief. She seemed to be having severe hallucinations about a lot of things this morning, considering she stayed up late last night watching a horror movie, maybe bringing it into the real world?

"Hey, you missed your hairpin." said another woman who was in the same toilet as her, she wanted to get out of the toilet first.

Just wanted to rush away, apparently, someone reprimanded her like that. It made her turn her head with a raised eyebrow. "Hairpin?" She muttered instead of asking herself, feeling surprised.

Hey, Nada is not a girly girl who needs makeup that only covers a small part of her hair.

"Yeah, no need to take it, I already got it for you. Next time don't throw it away, okay? I'm afraid it's valuable."

Received the red hairpin that was now in her hand, though she had no recollection of wearing it. "Okay, thanks."

Feeling strange, then glanced in the mirror again, and yes nothing happened that she had seen before, made her sigh. "Yeah, I'll keep it, who knows it belongs to someone else, and someone will look for this hairpin." She said, finally starting to put the tongs into the water bottle pocket next to her school bag.

She didn't care what had happened and started walking out of the toilet.

"I'll still be waiting for your arrival, Nada. I need a friend, let's just say a hairpin is the beginning of a friendship invitation."

...

Do you want to be friends with souls who have the fate of being the victims of dead creatures?

If you want, look in the mirror in your room or anywhere else, and imagine things you've never imagined before. Look in the mirror, think what kind of life there is.

And be careful not to get too close. They can pull you into the mirror at any moment.
