Chapter 027 A warning 3
…
Sleeping on the bed is a middle-aged man and on his side is a middle-aged woman who is sleeping calmly.
The man suddenly opens his eyes and before he could say anything, he saw a young woman standing beside the bed.
The young woman only has her eyes shown as she seems to be grinning at him.
Suddenly, he could feel his body feeling a bit stiff and when he wanted to say anything… he could not even move his mouth.
"I warned you… and you still did not believe… This is my last warning to your family… If the Song family continuously provokes me, then they would suffer the same fate as you…" the young woman said in a low voice and then left.
He could not say anything as his body is stiff. It was as if he could not even control it and the only thing he could do is to blink his eyes.
He suddenly remembers what has happened to his son and how his son because unconscious. According to the doctors, he is still conscious, but the problem is that he could not move.
"Is what's happening to me the same thing that has happened to my son?… If this is because we offended that young woman… then... then I think we just offended someone strong." he thought as a deep regret could be seen in his eyes.
He thought that the young woman would not strike after midnight and so he decided to just fall asleep, who would have known that she was able to enter the ground without even triggering any alarm.
Meanwhile, in another room where Ben San is sleeping, two people are standing guard outside his door. In the room, there is high-tech surveillance equipment monitoring the place.
He is sleeping calmly knowing that he is well protected.
The window from the outside is shut close and there is a motion detector attached to the window.
From the dead of night, a single piece of paper slowly floated in the air as if being tossed around by the wind. The thin paper floated and floated until it reaches the window where Ben San is sleeping.
Then the thin piece of paper suddenly sticks to the window and the surface of the paper suddenly glowed a bit.
After that glow, something miraculous happened.
A thumb-size hole appears on the glass of the window.
Then three silver needles suddenly flew one by one inside the room hitting the surveillance system which suddenly cuts off its power.
When the main monitoring system controlling everything in the room was turned off, the window slowly opened and a petite figure walks inside.
Sung Jisoo has already scanned the room using her eyes and noticed the flow of energy. She could locate the main source of that energy and quickly cuts it off.
She did not have to be an electrical engineer to know how to turn off any electrical object. As long as she could see the flow of energy, she could find its power source easily.
"This is causing me a bit of stress…" she muttered as she walks to the side of the bed of the middle-aged Ben San.
She did not hesitate to prick the man with a needle in his acupoints.
After finishing, Ben San who is lying on the bed suddenly wakes up.
Ben San was a bit startled to see the beautiful eyes staring at him in the darkness. He did not know why but he could clearly see her partly covered face using the dim light of the room.
However, just like what has happened to Sullivan Song, he too was already rendered immobile by Sung Jisoo.
"I told you that I would teach you a lesson, right? I have now kept my promise…" she then winked as she walked out of the room from the window.
Not long later, the door opened as the two guards enters the room.
They look at the bed and saw their master still sleeping. Then they checked the monitoring system of the room and noticed that the power indicator is off.
"This is bad… The indicator is really not on…" one of the guards said as he walked closer.
"Call a technician to check the surveillance system in Master San's room!" called one of the guards in his earpiece.
The other one walked to the side of the bed and then tried waking up Ben San.
"Master San… Master San… We have a problem with the monitoring system…" he said as he stood to the side.
When he looks at Ben San's face, he saw that his eyes are already open.
"Master… we have a problem…" he reported and bowed.
After a while, he could sense that something is wrong.
The person beside him also senses this. The two quickly opened the light and then walked near the bed and really saw Ben San's eyes opening and closing.
But the weird thing is that… that is all he is doing.
He is opening and closing his eyes, he is not saying any words, no movement coming from his body.
"This… this is bad! Call the other security… I think there is something wrong with Master San…"
The whole of Song manor was quickly in turmoil.
They all noticed that Sullivan Song and Ben San were rendered immobile for some reason. No security personnel saw anyone… even their cameras did not pick up any shadows in the surroundings.
It was like a ghost has entered the manor and only targeted those two.
In the study room of the Song manor, an old man is frowning deeply.
He has heard the report of his guards and has learned of what has happened to his son and Master San. He could not help but feel a shiver running down his old spine upon realizing that the young woman is actually not that simple.
If she was determined to kill any one of them, she could do it easily even under the protection of their personal guards.
"What kind of creature is she…" he muttered while looking at the profile picture on the computer tablet.
Suddenly, the phone on the side rang and a familiar number was displayed.
"Hello…" Grandpa Song answered.
"How is the demonstration old man? I did not kill anyone for now… I want you guys to know that there are people that you should not offend no matter what…" a cold female voice came out from the phone.
"*Sigh… What do you want?" the old man sighs in helplessness.
"Nothing… Just don't bother me and the people beside me… Because… if you do not comply, the same thing will happen to you and the rest of your family… Remember my warning and do not be foolish…" Sung Jisoo said at the other end of the line.
"Alright, you have your message come across… I will comply, why not end this here... Help me wake my son, and I will see this as a favor from this old man… you can ask whatever you want…"
"Haha… You misunderstand something… I aim to teach you guys a lesson. If my mood is right, maybe I can make them wake up… If not, then they will be in that state until they die…"
Before the old man could say anything, the line was already cut off.
Grandpa Song clenches the phone in his old hand and showed an angry expression on his face.
He has been the previous head of the Song family and has been domineering in the past. No one dares offend them nor cross them. Everyone who hears the surname Song would cower and stand to the side.
But times have changed. Who would have thought that one wrong move of his grandson would implicate even the current head of the Song family, his son?
Now, he has no choice but to stand out and once again hold the reign of the family.
"This… This is all because of that bastard…" he muttered while gritting his teeth in anger.
As someone who has gone through life, he is not that hot-headed as to butt heads with anyone. He could already recognize the crux of the matter and the reason for the unfortunate event happening in their family.
These things were caused by his arrogant and haughty grandson, if not for him offending such a monster, then they would not have such a predicament.
…
In the deep of the night, where the silver moon shines gracefully above the dark skies… a dark figure could be seen stepping out from the shadows as she calmly approaches the main road.
She suddenly staggered as she balances herself on the street lamp.
"Using that skill is making my head whirl and my vision blurry…" she muttered in a low voice as she carefully removes her jacket.
She then walked for a while until she saw a cab and hailed it.
It did not take her a long time before she arrived in another district of the city where the subdivision where she lives is located.
After paying the fare, she looks around the empty street and also the street lamps. When she noticed that there are no cameras and people, she suddenly wears her jacket again and then her figure disappears from the streets.
The next day…
No news was spread in the city as if nothing has happened. Everything went as usual and Anne Jing went to school like on normal days.
Meanwhile, Sung Jisoo stayed at home and secretly inserted a talisman paper in Sonya's handbag. It has been a while since she noticed that she seems a bit perturbed by something. So by doing this, she could make sure that at least she is protected.
"I must get my hands on some artifacts and enchant them, that way I can rest assured that nothing will happen to Anne and Auntie Sonya…" she thought as she went back to her room.
But the only concern she has right now is the vast space that holds her Reiki.
"I need to absorb more Reiki… Relying on my demi-god spark's trickling supply would not fill that vast lake…" she thought as she felt a bit helpless.
She takes out her phone and then looks at the location of the Vie City Treasure-house.
"Maybe I should visit there this morning…" she muttered as she decides to go out.
