Some parts of the city are always bustling in the afternoon especially the street side a few blocks away from the building of the Vie City Treasure Chest.
Street vendors would hawk their antiques and wares and many are their own handcrafted items.
Necklaces and bracelets of different shapes, small pouches and knitted bags of different colors and designs, and many other things that attract people's desire to buy souvenirs are everywhere.
While walking down the road Sung Jisoo has already been attracted by the beautiful things which made her show a happy smile on her pretty face.
Even though she is wearing a pair of large tinted sunglasses which almost covered her face, people could still not help but notice her.
Tall, and has a good body shape, along with her fair skin, so who would not get attracted to her?
She began to look all over the place with a big smile.
Her goal to find Reiki rich items seem to have gone out of her mind as she began to buy trinkets and cute bags.
Suddenly her hand froze while she was checking a cute pink pouch.
"What is happening to me?" she muttered.
She just realized that she seem to have changed a bit when she saw the lovely things around her. Before, she would just look at these things and admire them without showing interest in them.
But now, everything is completely different.
"I don't know if these changes are good or bad… But, I kinda like it…" she muttered as she flashes a smile.
At this time, she is already holding a couple of bags full of items.
Suddenly, she noticed an old cedar wood bracelet on a stall.
The bracelet has accumulated dust which means that it has been a long time since it was displayed there and no one wanted to buy it.
Well, who would want to buy such an ugly thing?
But what caught her attention is a small amount of Reiki that is seeping out of the crack in one of the crooked beads of the bracelet.
She approaches and then asked the man sitting behind the stall.
"This bracelet looks old… How much is it?" she asked showing a curious gaze.
Seeing that someone is interested in his ware, the middle-aged-looking man grinned and then lifted his head.
When he saw that the customer is actually a beautiful young woman, he was suddenly taken aback.
Sung Jisoo lowered her sunglasses and looks at the eyes of the middle-aged man.
"The price? Umm… 500 credits…" the old man said while looking stunned.
This is actually not a magic skill or a trick… it is just psychology… which is very basic and was learned by Sung Jisoo while reading.
Looking at the response of the man she showed a faint smile on her attractive face.
"Thank you…" she said as she grabbed the bracelet and then paid the man.
When she turned around, Sung Jisoo's eyes squinted because four men are currently blocking her way.
These four men have perverted smiles on their faces.
"I and my friends could not help but notice that you've been buying a lot of stuff in our territory… You're a bit loaded, right? Why not share something for me and my brothers to enjoy… and maybe you can join us too…" the man in the lead suddenly said.
Sung Jisoo's gaze turned serious as she hated these kinds of people. She could not help but feel disgusted while looking at them.
The four suddenly surrounded her.
"You cannot that!" the middle-aged-looking guy suddenly said while looking at the thugs.
"Old man, mind your own business, will you…"
"I said… You cannot do that…" suddenly the man's voice turned cold.
As if a chilling wind suddenly appeared in the area, the four men turn around and look warily at the man glaring at them with his deep eyes.
Silence immediately pervades the area and those people who noticed the situation quickly escape and walk the other path away from the group.
They knew that something is about to happen.
Sung Jisoo also showed a surprised expression at the middle-aged-looking guy. His calm demeanor and expression made him look like he is a real hidden master. She could not help but feel curious about the man and wanted to see how he handles the four guys.
The four looks at each other and showed a hint of doubt on their faces.
They have been thugs in these parts of the city, and know almost everyone. This middle-aged-looking guy is someone they have seen always sitting and sleeping behind his stall. He is nothing special but it seems that they are wrong.
"Could he be a hidden master?" whispered one of the thugs to his companion.
"I don't know… maybe?"
"But he does not look the part. His body looks frail and if I punch that guy, I think he would faint…" another one whispered.
The middle-aged-looking guy showed a confident smile on his face while looking at them.
But unknown to all, under the stall, a pair of hands are actually shaking.
The man is actually faking it!
He did not know what kind of snake gall bladder he has eaten he suddenly stood up for the beauty before him.
He had seen these guys bully many people in this area and he is one of those people who would hide when this happens.
But for some reason, he actually stood up for the woman.
Although he is showing a calm face, his heart is beating like thousands of hooves of horses racing in the prairie.
His face is now slowly turning pale while looking at the four men.
"Test him out…" their leader pushes one of his underlings.
The man staggered in annoyance but looks a bit afraid of the calm man behind the stall.
"Damn it!" the man grits his teeth and walks forward.
When the middle-looking man saw this, his face immediately turned paler as if blood has been drained from his frail body.
Sung Jisoo who is standing behind the four men showed a faint smile on her face. She did not know why the man is helping her but she is grateful for the gesture.
She has already noticed the weird reaction of the man who just sits calmly while smiling at the four thugs.
Then her sharp hearing picks up the rapidly beating heart of the guy.
That's when she knew that he is actually faking it.
She could not help but shake her head but is also grateful to the man.
She takes out a folded cloth from her sling bag and then a row of silver needles could be seen when she opened it.
Without hesitation, she flings four silver needles at the nape of the four thug's necks.
The needles accurately hit their acupoints which render the four immobile.
She then walked calmly behind them and then touches the silver needles applying Reiki to them.
When her Reiki enters the needles it travels down its metallic body and flows through their nervous system.
"Let's see… Weak lower body and arm joint pain…" she muttered with a smile.
When she removes the needles, the four thugs suddenly fell to the ground on their knees.
It was as if they are begging the man.
She then left the area leisurely as if nothing has happened.
The man, who noticed what she did, just froze as his eyes could only follow her figure.

Sung Jisoo went home and excitedly cracked the beads. And true to her conjecture, there is a secret that the beads are hiding.
Right now, in her hand, there are ten red jades, and each jade contains a vast amount of Reiki which seems to have accumulated for many years.
"These are dark and impure Reiki… I guess this thing came from a tomb or something. From the aura of the dark Reiki, this Reiki has been accumulated through fear and terror…" she muttered while checking the red jades.
"The owner of this jade might be someone who likes to do evil but is exposed in front of many people… A chief eunuch or something… or maybe the king of the land himself…"
She then began to write down a set of runic formations on the floor using her own blood.
Then she places the red jade bracelet in the middle of the magic circle.
"Chaotic Reiki Transformation… begins…" she muttered while sitting crossed-legged in front of the formation.
Then she could hear a wailing sound coming from the beads. It was like the wailing of thousands of ghosts suffering from endless torture and torment.
The wailings even made her feel goosebumps running down her skin.
"What creepy object…" she muttered subconsciously.
However, she did not stop refining the black Reiki that is now flowing out of the red beads. Little by little, she began to refine them. At this time she extended her hand and with her index finger pointing at the formation array a small wound slowly opens.
Red blood slowly pours out of her wound like a gooey red ink that slithers in the air. Then the refined black Reiki which has now turned translucent like a cloud of smoke that rises up from the runic array.
As the translucent Reiki touches the red inky blood it began to be sucked by the blood like a hungry leech.
A large amount of Reiki began to enter Sung Jisoo's body. The blood, which is a part of her body, has Reiki… however, it is not a complete Reiki. The reason for this is that Sung Jisoo wanted to absorb Chaos Reiki, and to do that, she needed her blood to combine with the translucent Reiki to create Chaos Reiki.
As the Chaos Reiki enters her dried-up sea of Reiki, she could feel invigorated. The dried-up sea of Reiki which is supposed to be muddy now has small patches of a pool of water.
Although feeling a bit depressed at the progress of her sea of Reiki, she is not that disheartened.
This is because cultivation is not her goal at this moment. Although it is her ultimate goal to reach the top someday and try to enjoy life with her emotion-free of inhibition, as of now, her goal is live properly.
But to do that, she realized that she needed credits.
While roaming around these days, she noticed two problems that most people in this world have.
One is the ghastly aura that lingers to some which are, for her, a good source of negative Reiki, and the other one is the failing health of the many people she has noticed.
And so, an idea began to form in her mind on how to get a sustainable flow of credits.
