Soft light illuminated the four walls of a small room, giving the walls a creamy shade instead of its flaxen glaze. The floor was of ceramic that shone a polished bronze, a similar shine to that of the metal bars that guarded what seemed to be a small room but was more of a dungeon.
' Weren't dungeons supposed to be all dark and gloomy?' Was the thought that crossed Adriana's mind some minutes after waking up.
Her brown eyes squinted against the translucent shine from a hovering orb in the air. A foreign smell wafted into her nose that was neither appealing nor revolting but permeated the air still.
Her back laid sideways on a soft pillowed bed, watching the orb rotating in the air, giving a clear and overall view of the dungeon in which she was held. The ceiling held starry night crescents that seemed to dim upon the orbs' approach, like some sort of enchantment.
