WITHIN THE PALACE.
Abaddon held his lance high in his hands as he sprinted forward. The energy around him was thick and concentrated and that made his attack every stronger than usual.
Adrenaline coursed through them, bracing their excited bones for the onslaught of the battle to come and that got them more hyper along with the energy force around them.
With the energy field spurring him forward, Abaddon raised his lance as he came in close quarters with Leonidas, and just as Leonidas was some meters away from reaching him; he brought down the lance while ramping a great deal of force into the strike.
Leonidas who had then been counting on his sword's expertise to bring down his brother didn't expect such a powerful strike to be made with a lance. A lance was often a very heavy weapon and its application was of distanced fighting as a result using it for hand-hand combat was somewhat unheard of.
