The place we were in was a weird one; most of the buildings were small and made out of wood, and the castle we were supposed to siege was one of the few that actually had something not made out of wood: a defensive wall made out of bricks, probably around three or four meters tall, with an opening for archers for them to shoot through. The castle itself was just made of a massive tower in the middle of the area protected by the wall, with some other smaller buildings around it.
The weapon I was holding at the time was a spear; this scenario didn't have any gunpowder, so no fire weapons.
My objective: to kill an enemy general.
My obstacle: his private army.
We chased him for weeks and weeks with no end; he kept running away, and we kept chasing him, rallying all kinds of people against him, whether they were bandits, wandering warriors, or just some random farmers we met while chasing him.
