"And that's how I found myself sitting in your couch" Veronica and I were in the living room and just like she had said earlier, I was all freshen up and was listening to her tale, which was centered around how she was here.
"So you were able to convince the Mayor of this City to hire you? How did you even do that? How were you able to make the Mayor trust you so easily?" I asked.
"A simple trick and that was all" She said casually.
I shouldn't have underestimated her. This was the same woman that had made me loose my principles that I held dear to my heart.
"And why did you chose to be here?"
"Isn't it obvious Robin? To see you ofcourse" I rolled my eyes remembering how she had used me.
