Chapter 36 - Unwilling

Of course, Toya didn't really hit Reyes.

Reyes eventually carried her to the car the butler had sent.

Perhaps it was because Reyes was indulging her too much, but on the way back, she kept whispering into his ear and warning him not to tell the driver and butler about their encounter with Carter today.

She put her head on his shoulder and her face was close.

Reyes could kiss her if he turned his head.

He walked all the way in frustration and only heaved a sigh of relief when he placed her in the car.

It was the first time the driver had seen his young master bend down to carry someone. His expression was ambivalent.

But he didn't say anything else. After getting into the car, he consciously put on his earplugs.

On the way home, Reyes and Toya didn't interact much.

She fell asleep the moment she got into the car.

She sat in the backseat with her eyes closed and her head cocked to the side.
