Get well soon, Boss.❤️
I stared at the cubicle, occasionally glancing at Dana room. But he not there, Ms Vayuna is there, can I just ask? There he was suspicious, because, I know, here I am being hit by unpleasant gossip. I again made sure the message I sent to Dana, the other tick took a long time.
Did something happen to him?
Uh, wait. I'm worried right? I feel like I've been in this position when Akasy never gave me news, when he first flew to Sydney.
" Muna." Call Ms Vayuna from the cubicle. "Yes, Miss?" I said.
"Here .." She waved, I got up from the seat to where Ms Vayuna.
"How are you, Misz? Is there anything I can help you?"
"It's okay, so it's like this N." Her fingers parted the strands of hair that covered his eyes." Mr. Dana, why aren't you going to the office today? In fact, there's no news at all, you know what, Mr. Dana, what's wrong?"
"Well, Miss the secretary doesn't even know. Moreover, I'm an intern." I said, looking her in the eyes with an incomprehensible look.
"Yeah, how do you know you have information about Mr. Dana. After all, you're quite close, right? You've been with him a lot lately, right?" Ms Vayuna grimaced. I shook my head, "I really don't know, Miss"
" Oh, nevermind."
I went back to work, but the inside of my head began to be busy guessing. How come, Dana's right hand just doesn't know, that's okay. The clock ticked, the minutes quickly replaced the clock on the wall. Lunch break, prayer break until it's time to go home.
I still can't find Dana nose. Why am I thinking about it? Isn't it weird? I opened my cellphone, no special messages came in.
Only grub is busy, until I'm not Akasy chat column, he was active ten minutes ago. I just didn't read my message yesterday, how busy is he in Sydney. I've heard that long distance relationship is like this, more failures than successes. I let out a ragged sigh, packing up my desk before exiting the room.
My head turned left and right, it was only me and two middle-aged men. The others are no longer visible in their respective cubicles.
" Hey, you." Call that man to me, I don't know what his name is.
" Yes, Sir." I replied while holding my steps so as not to come out, "what's wrong?"
"Apprentice?" he asked me.
"Yes, that's right Sir." My head nodded.
"Surely you can help, here is a document that Mr. Dana has to sign, can you bring it to his house?"
"Oh, why me?" I looked at him not understanding.
"Since he didn't come today, this is also part of the apprentice's performance anyway." He said casually without feeling guilty.
"But you have the documents, right?" I dared to refuse the old man's request.
"Apprentices don't act too much, if you ask for help, it means that's your job."
I suppressed my annoyance, took the documents packed in the folder.
"Okay, sir."
After that I just walked away, Dana didn't know where I was. How am I supposed to get that guy's autograph? I opened the cellphone in my bag, I looked for Dana contact and then pressed call but the number I was calling was not active.
"Just go to his house, okay?" I said considering, maybe Dana is taking a break because last weekend was hit by work.
STATE WEDDING
I got out of the car, looked around the house. The main door is wide open, that means Dana is there.
I immediately stepped foot, approaching the sturdy building where Dana lived alone.
"Mr Dana." I said from the doorway, quite quietly.
"Yes.." The answer I heard from inside, then I heard his footsteps coming towards me.
" Dana?"
" Muna?"
Simultaneously, our mouths let out those words. He was surprised by my arrival, and I was surprised because his head was being compressed.
"Are you sick?" My stupid question came out, it was clear the man's face was red with a white towel wrapped around his forehead.
He still manages to smile, "Come in, Na."
"Thank you, why didn't you tell me when you were sick." I put my bag on the sofa and sat beside him.
"It's just normal, it seems that you are too busy to work all day, last Sunday." He looked at me, why yes, his aura was still alive. This is sick though.
"Have you taken medicine? Or have you gone to the doctor?"
"Not yet." He straightened his legs, glanced at me." What are you doing? Coming to my house?"
Suddenly I don't like to hear what he's saying, it's like I just objected to coming here.
"I don't know, just a hunch, you is not feeling well." I answered casually, avoiding the gaze that was fixed on me.
Him laughed softly, "Are you looking for me in the office?"
"No," I shook my head. "Miss Vayuna, she's worried that you isn't coming to work all day." I didn't hear the answer from the main object, instantly I turned to the side and his eyes were closed.
" Dana." Call me.
" Hmm..."
" I came because there was a deposit from your employees. I don't know what his name is, I forgot to ask."
"What's the deposit?"
"Documents, he said there must be your signature."
"Just put it on the table, Na. Thank you for bothering to come here just to deliver the document." He didn't look at me, his eyes even closed.
"Do you have a headache, Dana?"
" Not yet."
"No wonder, I'll cook it. Can I? I'll also make ginger water, so that your body will get better." I offered myself.
"Don't be, Na, you're also tired from work. It's okay." I ignored Dana answer, got up from my seat and headed for the kitchen.
Wow, that's amazing. He's a man and he's very neat. I was amazed to see the arrangement of the contents of his mini kitchen.
As soon as my enthusiasm came, I opened the freezer which contained some vegetables and all other basic necessities. I took the initiative to make Dana chicken porridge, my dish that my parent really liked.
My hands began to move nimbly, working on the ingredients that I had taken from the freezer. Don't forget, I also made Dana ginger water, according to what I said to him earlier. It took me a long time to prepare my dish, but finally it was done. I went to the living room, himseemed to be lying down.
" Dana wake up. I've cooked, after eating, take some medicine." I order attention.
He opened his eyes and stared at me for a long time. I stood in front of him with a tray of chicken porridge and a glass of ginger drink.
"You cook, Na?" He still believes in what I said earlier.
"Yeah, I told you, I cooked for you." I put the tray on the table, there was smoke rising from the bowl and glass. He was silent for a few minutes, then took the chicken porridge and devoured it.
"There is a medicine box, right, Mas?"
"There, in my bedroom, Na."
" Oh, okay, i'll take it."
"You don't need to take medicine, Na. You just have a mild fever."
"But your face is so red," I said a little fiercely. " Your fever is quite severe, you know."
"It will heal itself later."
"I don't want to hear the rejection, you has to take medicine." I stood up, "I will take the medicine in your bedroom."
Him choked on what I just said. "Are you sure you want to enter my bedroom?"
" Why not?" I replied arrogantly, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Yes, please Na. My room is on the second floor, the most corner room itself." He answered with another smile.
My lips pursed, leaving him alone in the living room. I climbed the stairs while jogging, to get there quickly.
And yes, I immediately met him room in the corner of the room. The door was deliberately painted different from the other rooms, and then there was the inscription Dana Anugrah.
Like giving identification that the room is his private room. The door opened, my eyes widened in shock.
Fragrant and really neat, to the point that my own room is outmatched. Between the work desk and the bed, there is a small prayer room for him to pray. My brother last words, are really proven. I just saw it was comfortable myself. After I finished admiring the contents of Dana room, I took the medicine box hanging on the wall and went downstairs to meet the owner of this house.
Along the way down the stairs, the admiration did not go away. Is there a man who is too perfectionist like him? What will his wife be like? Unimaginable.
" Watch your step." The voice that reminded me was Dana voice, it turned out that I was already on the last stairs.
"He he, yes, Sir." I said a little embarrassed. "Even though me just needs to rest, he doesn't have to take any medicine."
"You have to take medicine, so you can get well soon. If you don't come to the office, many will worry." I said, handing him a medicine.
" Including you?" I was silent hearing Dana's question, lazy to answer.
"Not looking for your sister-in-law, coming home late? It's already sunset, right?"
"Yes, soon. So you quickly take medicine, so I can go home." He chuckled after I finished what I just said.
"It's okay Na, if you want to go home, go ahead. I am later take medicine."
"Why are you expelling?!" My voice rose.
"No, I didn't kick you out. I'm actually glad you came here." He justified what he said earlier," if you want to stay, you can."
"No, I have to go back."
" I have one question."
" What's that?"
"Does your boyfriend know that you are paying attention to other men this afternoon?"
"Another man? You is my boss in the office."
"Still the same Na, the boss who shouldn't have anything to do with employees other than work. And you, interns too." Him explained to me.
"He's far from me, he doesn't know anything. Don't worry, I don't think this is too much attention. You has known me since I was little, so it's not a big problem."
"Well, it will be a problem if your lover finds out." He didn't agree with what I said, "You and him are lovers, me and you are just ordinary acquaintances. Don't let the two of you disband just because of something like this."
"Ugh, what's going on. It doesn't have any effect, why is it such a burden on?" I looked at his face.
"Why do you have to be secretive? Zeo didn't give a signal of blessing in the relationship between the two of you?"
"A little, actually not disapproving. Him wants me to focus on college and finish on time. I understand why, him is like that because of his responsibilities as an older brother to a younger sister."
"Are you happy with such a relationship?"
"At first I was happy, but now that I'm here, there are many things I can't understand." I express everything in my heart. "He rarely has news, doesn't he?"
I don't know why Mas Dana's words are right on target, "If it's a distant relationship, you really have to understand more than the quality time, Na."
I agree with Dana words." But women also have their own feelings of fatigue, sometimes they become one-sided selfish. I'm the one trying to understand but what's there isn't, it's overlapping."
"But you do love it."
"Yes, what if you don't love, last until this second. How about yourself? Don't you have a partner?"
" No." He shook his head, "That's why it's so hot, so trouble yourself."
"And luckily I stopped by, if not. Have you not fallen in this house." I said a little displeased, looking at him full of ridicule.
"And the chills this time, are actually a lot different from the chills from a few periods ago." His style of speech is no longer limp, his face looks fitter than the first time I saw it.
Thank God.
