Well, scouting ahead was a complete waste.
The heavy hitters had caused a racket, which led to the infected being attracted to the noise. Now there is nothing in the city of Kanazawa. Well not nothing, there are a few survivors, but nothing for me to increase my stats and skills. There are a few things I can store in my INVENTORY.
Kanazawa being a port city had a harbour. Going through the shipping manifest of all the ships in port and what was in the harbour. I came across a few tons of rations, and more importantly for me, there are parts and rigs for precision machinery and precision manufacturing.
I came away with 525 Horizontal Machining centres, 817 Vertical Machining Centres, 87 5-axis Machining Centres,1200 lathes, and other machinery. Some used some new. Looking at things objectively, I only need one of each, I'm just being greedy.
There were millions of cars, that were honestly useless. No fluids in them, no gasoline, no supporting infrastructure. I can take a few sports cars but other than that there honestly nothing here for me. I need to see if there is a way to connect to the internet. I can locate military bases, and rob them. Also I need to rob the things I know how to use. Robbing a mortar or artillery piece will be useful, but if I can get a hold of self-propelled and rocket artillery equipment, that will be more useful.
So robbing small arms for myself, and vehicles to turn into drones. I need to stick around and let the disease run through more people and countries. Damn, it's going to be hard to convince the others to chill out for a while.
Why sabotage? Just be honest. Maybe we can find things to use back on our own respective worlds. I know for a fact that there is WW2 machinery at the bottom of the ocean. Getting a battleship with 17" guns will help Whitebeard greatly. If there is vantablack or Musou Black paint, give that to Madara. The others can have a look around and see what they would like. I know others will be interested in not only military equipment, but scientific equipment as well.
Replicating scientific advancement with magic and vice versa should keep them busy for a long time to come.
Which reminds me, steal fancy shit. The Mona Lisa, Kohinoor, Hope of Africa, et cetera. it might be worthless to most, but as long as I know, that's all that matters.
Maybe people have already stolen and hidden these things. It's not a priority, just that, it would be nice.
I need to head to the States, the UK, then Russia. India and China are on the list too. Basically places with large weapon stockpiles. I both want to put off going there and go there as soon as possible. On one hand I want to see where this shit show leads, on the other, I want all the cool shit, consequences be damned.
I also have to look inside the city proper. The port, when in operation is it's own little world, much like an airport or an active military base. I'll talk to the rest of the team in the morning.
*The next day*
We all took our sweet time getting up. It was a tiring day, mentally. For people like Odin and Genryusai it took a while to come to term with the fact that there is a power greater than what they previously thought. The rest, including me, were surprised that we all could me manipulated at a mere whim of a far stronger entity. It's as if we are mere characters in a lazy writers story.
I told the team of what I had in mind. We could all use the remnants of the machinery available and make feasible systems. I found out how to download Wikipedia from YouTube. Thanks to my grandkids teaching me some things. We now have most of this worlds' knowledge. (A/N: imagine a bunch of old people around a computer trying to figure out how this shit's supposed to work.)
Now all that's left is to find maps. Lots of maps. See the thing is, when shit hits the fan, people don't think long term. That justifiable, if I have a house, I would first secure food and water. Then electricity and gas for heat and appliances. It might seem like a good idea to rob luxury items, but your Gucci handbag doesn't qualify as food.
We later found a poster printing place. Master Makarov can make dioramas of places that he's seen or knows enough about. He can also copy images from one place to another. But copying an image on a computer doesn't work. He needs solid ink for it to work. Master Makarov, along with Odin can 'print' and image from their memories, but need paper. I can get them all phones or tablets, but how do you get a tv sized tabled for Whitebeard? SHOP! why did I not think of this earlier?
I'm a dumbass.
Whatever, we're going the low tech route.
Kanazawa being a port city, there are a lot of warehouses inland. We can possibly find heavy-duty treated paper. Or transfigure some paper to have the desired qualities we want. We'll be making a zoom-able and pan-able paper map. Google Earth on paper. The features will include live satellite feeds and topographical layer. Along with route planner. For that we need to find a way to keep the satellite infrastructure up and running.
Need to rescue some military personnel. What I've found out about Japanese bases is that most times, all 3 branches use the same base. Cuts down on development costs, and combined arms training is easier. Honestly it's a brilliant idea, in theory, but grandstanding and bureaucracy won't let it happen. Doesn't matter where you are. Different branches have their own pride.
If I had my way, the soldiers would either be Marines or paratroopers. You have 2 out of the 3 operational capabilities in each soldier as a base. Special Forces basically operate everywhere as a whole, but certain units can be highly specialized. Depending on who the opponent is, and the theatre of operations, you might only need a battalions worth of paratroopers to raid the enemy HQ and kill the top brass.
But I do have my way, if not soldiers then drones. The doctrine has shifted from stealthy precise strikes to, if it moves kill it. Expedites the whole mission considerably.
I'm planning mass murder again, I need food. What is it? low blood sugar? Iron? Whatever, food makes me happy, and less likely to blow your head off.

It was 18:00 when I left for Toyama on my jet-bike. I'm going to scout ahead and mark out large pockets of zombies. If possible I'm going to sort out smaller groups. Will make things easier for the locals and the ones following me.
The plan is to first secure the peninsula and Toyama Bay. Once the ports are secure, then we can move to the Eastern coast where all the military bases are. Hiroshima, has a military presence, I'll try and find armouries. It is vital that I find supplies for the fighters. The leeches will eventually be found out and die, but the fighters will prevail. This is why I want to wait before handing out small arms like they're skittles. Untrained, unskilled, amateurs are going to get everyone killed. The ones who livelong enough, will have, self discipline, mental fortitude, and training of some sort.
Oh I also need to figure out how to download music. I have the BGM player on the system. Time to make use of it.
